  1. LOL I can't imagine a laxative would be needed but it seems like so many people cleanse before surgery. My surgery is Wednesday, I am going to call the doctor's office on Monday to double check. Maggie
  2. I am currently on day 4 of my week long liquid fast before surgery. My doctor has said nothing about a pre-op laxative. has anyone else not had to do a cleanse before surgery? Maggie
  3. Christi, THAT is wonderful. My surgery is Wednesday (19th) and I have been wondering what someone who is done healing and well on their way down eats. Would you mind posting a typical day in the life.......emphasis on what and when you eat. really would appreciate it. Maggie

  5. Not being able to have coffee today due to the stress test I had a terrible headache. maybe I will do 1/2 decaf 1/2 caff for awhile. M
  6. WOW.....perhaps I will start trying to wean off the coffee now. NOT a decaf fan, even in the Keurig. On the way to work I stop for a medium McDonald's coffee with two creamers. $1.07' for any size. It's always hot and fresh.
  7. What did you search in iTunes? Can I use it on my iPad? cannot find it. HELP!
  8. I had a stress test today and if that was not bad enough I was told I could not have caffeine after midnight the day before. This was really tough for me. I only drink ONE cup of coffee in the morning but I NEED it. LOL How soon post-op did you drink coffee and did you use creamer? M
  9. I don't mind lengthy nor heavy especially if it will teach me on my journey. Please reconsider, or please consider sending it to me privately.

  11. Wow, YOU have been through A LOT and still feel the surgery was worth it!!!!!! Please continue when you have time. I am your avid reader
