  1. I need to stay hydrated, I was dehydrated in the hospital and it wreaked havoc with my blood pressure. I don't have trouble getting fluids down its just the Protein drinks really fill me up. Thank you ladies, I am going to sip, sip, sip today, but mostly relax. Maggie
  2. I am 6 days post-op and am trying desperately to get all my Water and Protein in but am finding it near impossible. I really need some hints from those of you who were successful. Help please, Maggie
  3. I think this thread may slow down but I would surely input on the rest of the threads, this is where the info is, along with amazing support. On FB we would all be newbies.
  4. I am still sleeping in a recliner. 5 days out, tried my side again last night and it was very uncomfortable.

  14. Never thought I would enjoy the broth from chicken noodle soup so much. Finally, something with taste, without sweetness.
  15. I have been on liquids for 6 days and cannot stand the fast in my mouth, it's so sweet. Everything I drink is sweet except Water and it comes through the water. Any suggestions on getting rid of this? Can I drink the broth from a can of chicken noodle Soup for a different taste, if I strain it? Maggie
  16. I love to cook for my family, especially big Sunday dinners. I am afraid my surgery is going to change that. I want to continue our Traditional Sunday dinner when everyone comes home. Has your attitude toward cooking changed? Maggie
