  1. I work in a bakery and I came back after four days...mainly because I couldn't afford to be off any longer. It was way too soon. I was exhausted, and I'm still paying for it now (four months later).
  2. I had Aetna and they told me I did not have a weight loss benefit included with my plan, so they I was declined. I was lucky enough that my parents were willing to lend me the money so I could pay cash for the surgery and Aetna would cover my labs. Then Aetna canceled coverage for all individuals who reside in Mississippi and I ended up paying out of pocket for everything. It was expensive, but completely worth it. I hope you get approved!
  3. I only told my closest friends and my parents. I felt embarrassed at first, like I was taking an easy way out. However after going through this whole process, I don't feel that way about it anymore.
  4. I've heard yoga's good for that. Here's a link to some poses.
  5. I confess... 1. I really want an ice cold Diet Coke. 2. I'm not as afraid to look in the mirror anymore. 3. I find it irritating that my guy friends have started asking me out and people in general are nicer and meaner. 4. I miss having a full wardrobe (but I've already donated 4 garbage bags of clothes to GoodWill). 5. I feel exhausted all the time and do not workout as much as I know I should.
  6. This is my first post on this forum and unfortunately, it's not going to be very positive. I only told my closest friends about having weight loss surgery so the majority of my coworkers are unaware of what I have done. I've lost a lot of weight in the last three months and every day someone has said something about it to my face and/or behind my back. Some of its nice, a lot of it is petty. Does anyone have any tips for dealing with this type of situation?
