Hi I was originally scheduled for September 19th, but due to insurance issues I am now scheduled for October 18th. What about everybody else?

Went to the doctor and nutritionist today, got my new surgery date 10/18. The good news is that I've lost 40lbs so I trying to positive about the whole situation! Good luck to all!

The insurance person in the doctors office said its $30,000 + with anastesia, surgery and hospital stay....

Good Luck everybody!!! I go back to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully after all this insurance BS is cleared up I will have a date in October!! I am trying to be optimistic but am feeling broken hearted at the same time!!

I got some very crappy news from my surgeons office yesterday afternoon, my husbands insurance will only pay $7,000 total for surgery, hospital and anastesia, I was only 9 days away from my surgery date. I had to cancel 9/19 date and get extra insurance starting October to pay for the surgery. I go back to the Nutritionist and doctor on Thursday hopefully I will get a new date in October. I'm sooo upset!!! I feel like crying!!

How are you feeling 3 days out? Are you able to drink anything? Do you still need the pain meds? I'm going in on the 19th and am so curious...

All you can do is move on.. Tomorrow is a new day with a new start. Thinking of you I know this liquid diet is not easy!
