  1. :girl: <--- this is Me hugging Toni!! <--- this is our whole group hugging! We're all so awesome!
  2. I TOTALLY understand you Toni!!! WhenI got the Band I was like AMEN! I figured it'd help me so I could just eat less and loose weight... But then I decided that I wasn't loosing FAST enough. That is just ME. Technically, I'm loosing just fine... But I've been fat for so long and have SOOOOO far to go that I decided to nudge it up a bit. I choose to go to the gym to give my metabolism a boost and speed up my loss. As for calories... I don't count them. I did just order a Body Bugg, so I will start to monitor calories, but so far I haven't, except for 2 or 3 days when I could barely eat anything. Mostly, I get more than 1000 calories though... like tonight I sit here eating ICE CREAM... I don't even care about the calories! I just wanted some friggin ICE CREAM!!! I've given up so much for this Lap Band. I gave up bread, I gave up burgers and french fries and lettuce (NO MORE SALADS! It makes me PB) I have given up soda... and BEER. All this makes me sad... but its making me healthier too. Long story even longer (Lol!) I think calorie counting and exercise are only choices that some bandsters make in order to boost their weightloss. There is nothing wrong with choosing to not do these things... you'll loose weight anyway cause you cannot physically eat like you used to be able to.
  3. Yay! Super Tall chicks!! I'm 5'10... OK... probably really 5'11 1/2" like the doc office says, but my drivers license still says 5'10" Ha! My problem with Avenue jeans is that in the Tall length the legs are perfectly long, but way too wide, the butt is too big, and the waist goes up to my boobs! When I get the 'average' length all of the above applies, except the waist stops where it is supposed to and the legs are too short. I'm currently wearing some jeans from Lane Bryant I bought probably 2 years ago, size 28, one pair is all baggy all over, and actually nearly fall off, the other pair I have is perfect everywhere, except I think they are still too big in the legs, and maybe the butt. Ugh! i have such a flat butt! I want my fat sucked frommy belly and injected into my ass!
  4. THats amazing! YOu look beautiful! Congrats!!
  5. I'm scared to Bungie - afraid I'd bust the cord! There are so many things I wanna do when I become a skinny fit bitch that I'm too fat to do now!
  6. Oh yeah, while you are "checking out" to pay for it, you'll have to create a shoppers profile... just thought I'd tell you that.
  7. Sweety - go to 24hourfitness.com. Click on the body bugg, I think its in the lower left corner... add it to your shopping cart. It is sold there for $349.00, but is discounted to liek $279 right now. Then when you get to the check out page there is a place for a code, use coupon code BLC24, that saves you an additional $50. I'm not sure how much longer the code will work for. I know the woman on the body bugg thread that posted this info got hers 3 weeks ago... but it still worked on Monday when I ordered mine. It was such a great deal that I just HAD to have it!! NOW I want the little wrist watch looking display thing too... they have it there for $79... I might ask for it for Christmas!!
  8. Rhonda, you haven't had gas from Fiber foods until you've had the Fiber One cereal! hahaha! Wowza! Thanks for the Kashi tip! I'll give it a try! Sounds like it would be a great snack! Thats amazing Ashley!! Congrats! I can't wait until I get there! (of course my halfway point is like 111 pounds or something! Yikes!)
  9. OK OK OK!! Ya'll can call me ZZ. Geez!! Lol. Just don't expect me to figure out ya'lls 'nicknames', Im kinda slow like that! YES! The Body Bugg deal is a great one if anyone is interested. I just ordered mine for $229.29, and got shipping confirmation last night... I should get it on Monday. (You can get it faster if you pay more for shipping.)
  10. It IS a good deal, if you saw my post from a couple days ago, I only paid $229.20 for my Bugg. I didn't get the display watch, though I may ask for it for Christmas!! And someone asked about a code for the display, there isn't one that I know of... but if I figure it out I'll let you all know! Lol!!
  11. Oh my! Stef said ya'll were laid back... but I think you're a WILD bunch!! Haha I might have to stick around!! Thanks for all the advise on the bike! I'll definitly keep it in mind when I;m looking! BTW, the 'shocker' is my friends and I fave 'white girl gang sign.' Haha!
  12. Hello!!!!!!!! I just spent 2 glorious hours sweating my fat ass off at the gym! 30 minutes Tredmill 60 minutes Elliptical 30 minutes weights (arms, shoulders, abs) Total now is 535 minutes! Yay me! I'm totally getting into the gym thing now. I feel so good when I'm there and even better when I leave. I purchased a body bugg online last night for an amazing low price of $229!! (Originally $399!) I'm so excited and can't wait to get it! (hopefully in the next week or two!)
  13. babygrl, I felt the same way, but really, I think the 3 months comes with it. Otherwose its worthless tool... and the $229 is a $119 savings, so if you added that back on and paid the $349 it all makes sense. (Am I making sense?) Anyway... Its an amazing deal. Even if for some ODD reason it doesn't come with the 3 months, you'll be able to purchase those and still be getting s STEAL!
  14. Hey Dan, I'd be willing to go during that time frame. It would really be perfect for me!
  15. Dan! You SUCK and we all hate you!!! Just kidding!!!! DUDE!!! YOU freaking ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!! Will you lose some of my weight for me? Lol. :whoo:
  16. OMG! I don't think I could shave my head! I joke about it... and one of my best friends shaves hers... but I'm just too vain. And I think I have a weird shaped head. Lol. Kudos to you!
  17. Insub! You are so right about soft stuff! That is the main reason I have taken to eating soups when I dine out with friends... otherwize I can only eat about 3-4 bites and am done! I don't mind only eating small amounts, but it makes my friends feel weird to not have me eat more. Lol. I've had friends say 'OMG! You can't eat anything now!' (Duh, that was the point of the band! Haha!)
  18. Hey MM!!! Glad you're back and that you went to the Doc for your depression!! SAD is very serious and so easily treated! Kudos for you for getting treatment!
  19. I have a 10cc band, and have had 3 fills = 7cc total right now. I'm at a great spot - almost what I'd call my sweet spot, so I declined a fill last week when I went to the doc! With THAT being said... my first fill was 4cc... and i felt NOTHING! and my second fill was 2cc... and I only felt the tiniest bit of restriction with certain foods, and could still eat a horse! Hang in there and get fills as often as you are allowed. You'll get to your sweet spot soon enough!
  20. Thanks for the info mbs and Stef! And Stef... of course you couldn't have been talking about me. Lol. And I came across you and this thread quite by accident - I was only looking for bike info - but now that I know you're here I shall stalk gently.
  21. OMG! THANK YOU FOR THIS CODE!! I just ordered my body bugg and it was already discounted to $279.20 and with the extra $50 off my total was $229.20!! I'm still unclear on if that comes with the *free 3 months and stuff, but either way I'm thrilled! I can't wait to get it and put it to use!!
  22. Lol. I just HAVE to chime in here! My first time on the elliptical I barely did 2 minutes... the next time I worked very hard and made it to 5. - THEN I discovered the incline settings! (Duh!) Now I set it at the medium incline (5) and I can do 60-90 minutes easily. I LOVE the elliptical and choose it over the tredmill everytime!
  23. Hey everyone... I'm thinking about getting a bike in the Spring (I live in the mid-west and we'll have snow soon!) I haven't ridden a bike since I was about 13 years old... what do you suggest? I'm on a modest budget, so please think cheaply! (Hi Stef!)
  24. 75 minutes hiking though a park - very muddy and hilly!! (3.5 miles!) 20 minutes spent swinging on a playground. (I'm TOTALLY counting this as exercise cause it worked my arms, abs, and legs! Have ya'll tried this lately? Its such a FUN workout!) New monthly total is 415 minutes!
