  1. I'm 8 days post op and the soreness gets better. My biggest issues is the acid reflux. Omg, it's horrible
  2. Being on a full liquid diet since surgery on 9/24, is it normal that I haven't gone #2?? I don't feel constipated but I'm wondering what exactly should be happening and when??
  3. I didn't want food until today. My sleeve doesn't want it, but other parts do.
  4. I'm only 6 days out and this is the first time I felt hungry and it's drivin me crazy!! I had a little bit of Jell-o and got full but my mouth is salivating for more. Is this my mind playing tricks on me??
  5. I'll be hitting you up for tips! That's awesome weight loss! Congrats!! I'm only 3 days post op and still dealing with lots of reflux and gas pain. I need pain meds every 4 hrs and can barely get liquids in.
  6. Yes she was! I think she lost 80lbs in 5 months.
  7. Comedian Lisa lampanelli will be showing off her new bod after getting sleeved in April! She looks fantastic!! Thought I would share.
  8. I'm 3 days out and the gas pain and acid reflux is the worst. Not so much incision pain. Hurts to drink still.
  9. Can I assume the pains in my stomach are that I'm full?? Lots of gurgles and sounds too
  10. I'm 3 days post op and no matter how hard I try I can't get all my liquids in. Using isopure and water and there is no way I'm getting my 40g of protein or 64oz of water. Still in a lot of pain. Acid reflux and gas pain is almost unbearable. Afraid I will dehydrate
  11. The fact that you lost that much weight in such a short time has to be a huge accomplishment and you're not focusing on the good here. Do Something for you. Make yourself happy. I'm sorry about your fiancé but she obviously doesn't see what a committed person you are
  12. I was sleeved on 9/24. Most of the pain is abdominal and in my shoulders because of the gas. It feels better when I stand or walk. Sitting is a chore. Feel it's almost impossible to get my protein or water down. Have lots of acid reflux too. But, I vacuumed this morning, put in laundry and swept the kitchen floor. Some things never change
  13. No rx other then for pain. The gas ex helps a bit but not for the shoulder pain.
  14. Hello, I am now a post oper!! Today is my first day home. The gas pains are unbearable. Taken a Pepcid , a gas ex and I'm sitting with a heating pad on back. I can't burp or fart. It seriously feels like a heart attack. Anyone have any suggestions??
  15. Surgery was about 1hr and 1/2. Recovery room was longer because I was stubborn in waking up. They took me in just before noon and I woke up at 5pm.
  16. Ok. Surgery is over!! Thanks everyone for the good thoughts and wishes. Gas pains are the worst. Really can't get fluids down. Walked the hallways twice since out of recovery.
  17. Have to be in by 9am today!! Surgery is at 11. Am I ready?? Omg, so many emotions running through me right now!! Dr Goyal is doing the surgery at somerset hospital in nj. I'm so scared! I keep hoping this isn't the last time I kiss my kids
  18. All I keep thinking is should I or shouldn't I?
  19. So I have a surgery date set. I'm nervous. I know that's normal. But I wonder if anyone else is having the same issues I am having when I look in the mirror. I can't picture myself thinner. I've been heavy so long that I'm used to seeing myself this way. I can't mentally picture myself thinner, in better clothes. I'm afraid of failing before I even start this surgery because I feel if I can't picture myself thinner then it can't happen. I think I'm driving myself crazy
