  1. I meet with the doctor and surgery scheduler on the 13th. Once I finish my copay it uld be wo weeks after that so we are looking at March 25th. Nervous and scared at the same time!
  2. Is this a Blue Cross plan? I verify insurance eligibility for a living. Does it have anything about a coinsurance listed. One of the things you may have to do is contact customer service and check your responsibility for hospital stays and what's covered.
  3. Usually that means the first $150 is your responsibility then you either have to pay the $2500 up front, then coverage is paid in full. Does it provide you any indication like, you are or the insurance is responsible for a certain percentage after the deductible is paid? That is a pretty low deductible.
  4. Does your insurance cover this or is it out of pocket?
  5. I am getting sleeved March 2013. I have to pay the surgeon $500 and then the hospital will bill me. I am responsible for 20% up to $2500
  6. Thanks! I am pre op so I will continue to take
  7. I have been approved. I go to my final preop appointment February 13th. I should get my surgery date then. We are looking at March 13th. I am terrified of going under. I am a single mom, I am the only one my daughter has. Well, I have family but I am the only parent. I always felt as if something was going to go wrong, it would go wrong for me before anyone else. Am I just being paranoid?
  8. I feel the same way. Getting this surgery has made me confront alot of things about myself. I am terrified of surgery also. I am going to ask my doctor for some zoloft or something because I am starting to get depressed. I had an abnormal EKG, but the doctor says I was showing low voltage and that I would be ok. It's just wondering if I made the right decision. I do know, that something has to be done quickly, I want to see my daughter grow up!
  9. I wonder how the original poster of this topic is doing.... I am wishing her the best
  10. I am not sleeved yet, just wanting to know how are you faring today?
