I just had to go through that. I wished someone coached me before i went. Do not, i repeat do not answer those questions with sad stories. For example: Do you rather stay home instead of going out with friends. Or Do you compare yourself to others (what women doesn't). I thought by making myself unhappy with my weight i would be approved. That was far from the truth. She actually said i have severe depression and have to see her three more times before she would give me the go ahead. Thank god the surgeon override it, so now im scheduled for the 3rd of December. Good luck.

OMG. My paper work was submitted on Friday and i received a call today saying i was approved. Thank you to all that was so supportive. I can't wait to be on the looser side. AHHHH. To excited. #Soontobesleeved

I am having the same issue

My six mouth was October 28 and I gained 6 pound throughout my six month. My surgeon said i have to lose 10 pound before he would operate. So now once i get approved for surgery by my insurance if i don't lose that 10 pound he will not operate. Again, every surgeon is different and might not be the same for you. My paper has been submitted and now I'm playing the waiting game.

This new app is such a bummer. I hate it

My pre op diet will be shakes only for 2 weeks. But every surgeon are nit the same. But about approval pleaae stay on top of your game. I had my laat appointment last week Monday but the girl at my pcp office mis handle some paper works they were sent to my surgeon yesterday. Over a week and nothin was done. Now i have to make sure the girks at the surgeon office do there work. Then its start all over again with the insurance company. Jumping over hoops are not freaking fun. Linda305

So Monday October 28 was my 6 month supervised diet and my last. So Wednesday i decided to call the surgeon office to see if they receive the documents and they said "no". I called my pcp office and they said everything was set so now im going back and forth. I was so upset that i started giving them a piece of my mind. The lady at my pcp office even gave me her personal number because it's hard to get a hold of someone in that office. So a week went by and nothing was resolved. Linda305

To be honest with you i am not depressed. I just know I'm fat and want to lose weight. She just want me to keep coming back so she would continue getting paid by my insurance. This really sucks. Linda305
