  1. My surgery got bumped up a day! Thursday with Dr. Lopez...getting nervous!
  2. Of course my first pregancy i was just 14 and i had no idea. My mom would scrub and scrub but of course to no avail. I still remember the humiliation of feeling "dirty". Im sad that people live under that misconception because it sticks with u long after the pigmentation fades. : (
  3. I had gestational diabetes with all three of my children and i had this condition then. I had darkened armpits, elbows,ankles and a fine line that was jett black from my pubis to between my breasts ( line of negras). I had c sections n my obgyn thought it was hilarious as he didnt have to mark me for surgery! It IS related to insulin. : )

  14. My bmi is 32. I am 5'8 and weigh 210 and am scheduled for Nov 16th. I have diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia and I so hope that this sleeve can help me do what years of yo-yo dieting couldnt.

  16. I have been diagnosed with silent thyroiditis/probable graves disease and ak wondering if there are any sleevers out their.
  17. I will probably schedule for the 16 of Nov. However december would give me more time to save. Im not too sure yet but will be booking early next week.
  18. My bmi is also 31.9 however i have every comorbidity out there! I am an R.N. so i know that I need help and hope that the sleeve gives me some control. I am sure about the surgery and the surgeons but am curious about location. My sis will be with me for support so i am hoping she may be able to enjoy the trip alittle.
  19. Can anybody give me a heads up on the facilities in PV? I am going in Nov. to be sleeved and would appreciate any advise/info.
  20. I am at 200 and I am 5'8" and some people think Im crazy for wanting the sleeve, however in the last 4 years I have developed high bp high cholesterol and diabetes. Being a registered nurse and knowing what I have to look forward to if I don't get sleeved is scary. I hope to be sleeved in November.
