I had my leak test this morning which came out good. Then the Doctor came in to my room and pulled my drain tube out (ouch). Then the nurse came in and ripped the tape off my hairy belly to change my badinages. And finely Trish came and took me and another truck driver to the hotel for one more night. Then I get to go home. This was a experience That I will never forget. It's the start of my new life. A new me which I will be able to play with my grand kids like I want to. And to be a better husband and father. It will all start when I get home tomorrow when I get home to my family.

Dr Pronce and Trish were great. Overheard Trish and two ladies talking about pedicures. I said I want one and Trish said sure. Then I said just kidding. I wish some buddy would have told me about the TV stations here at the INT hospital. I would have brought some DVD's

I was just given this blue contrast dye for my leak test. Wow I don't think I can do it. It's awful.

One of my non weight goals is to be able to get off the floor from sitting and not look like an upside down turtle trying to roll over.

I got sleeved on Wednesday with Dr Pronce in Tijuana. His diet is 3 days of yogurt. It was a piece of cake. I think with all the VSG he does, we's learned that shrinking the liver is not as impotent as it once was thought.

Day after surgery Day 2 and I'm not doing to bad. My stomach came back to life last night. with all its glory. It was moving around and making noisess all night. This morning after I got my IV meds I though up for the first time. it was interesting. Not much there just a little blood. The nurse looked at it and said it looked ok. I had some crushed ice last night and defiantly felt it. I'm looking foreword for my broth that I get when I move to the hotel.

Hi crystalintville, With all my research, I think all the doctors are good in tijuana. What made me decision was the pre op diet. Dr Pronce only requires a three day nothing but yogurt diet. The night nurse at the int hospital in tijuana started my IV with one stick. I can't beleave it. It normily takes five or six stick. Boy is she good.

Well I made it. I'm here at the INT hospital in Tijuana Mx. And after a vary FAST ride from the airport. They got me checked in and I'm in room 306. After playing with the TV trying to get an english speaking station Trish came in and told me how to do it. She got me a nice pillow and we talked. She is so nice. I walked past the night nurse who was getting a shoot with a BIG needle ready for someone. I covered my butt as I walked past her and she laughed. Looks like I'm the first one in the morning. The internet works great after you get the password. Until the morning

I'm getting on the jet plane in a few hours for my sleeve and I couldn't speep ether. Good luck Lizzyshade, we'll both do great.

Dr. Pronc De Leon at INT Hospital

This day has been a long time coming. I'm nerviest about the surgery in Mexico and dealing with my family. Will know here in a few day if keeping this to my self was the right thing to do. I started a blog in the blog section if your interested.

I leave for Tijuana tomorrow afternoon. As some of you know I had to keep this surgery to myself. My wife and kids didn't want no part of this and if I told them it would have turned really bad. I think a lot of it is that they would be worried about me with the surgery and to top it off going to Mexico to have it done. I hope my family will eventually accept my decision and support me. This three day diet suck. I don't know if I could have done the ten day or two week diet. I fingered this would be my first sacrifice for the new me. And they'll be many more. I hope I can keep this blog going. I'm not much of a writer so excuse me if I mess this up. Or give you something to laugh at. lol :-) untill next time, see ya

I ended up putting in splenda and crystal light lemonade mix. much better.

This is the best video I've seen of a VSG. I have seen so many of them and noticed every sergeon does it a little different.

I started Dr. Pronces three day yogurt diet this morning. I have learned that plain yogurt is nasty. Does anyone have any ideas to make this stuff more palatable. I asked Trish and she said needs to be plain. no fruit.

Congratulations on your success so far. I see Dr Pronce and Trish next Wednesday. I'm getting so excited and scarred about my new journey.

nothing to worry about. Crap comes in all colors shapes and textures. When you put weird stuff in your stomach that it's not used to it saying " ha up there, what's this crap your giving me" and it shoots it right back out. Did you know, If you eat a hole bag of oreo cookies your poop turns black. Just a little FYI. :-)
