  1. Is Isopure and Isopure plus the pre made bottles ok to drink on clear liquid day? Thanks in advance.
  2. Hi! How are you healing? I'm happy everybody seems to be doing well. I think this board has saved my sanity and my families. I can't wait to join the January sleevers. I was supposed to be at the end of December so the delay had felt like forever. It feels crazy that I have only one more full day. I'm trying to keep my expectations realistic. I've always been a slow loser and expect that may not change. I have to fight away the thoughts that this too will be a failed attempt. Just enjoying every part of the journey and staying positive and keeping things in perspective. I'm so excited to get on with the rest of my life. I can't wait to get off the sidelines of my life and actually play again. I feel so blessed to have found what I pray is the answer to my prayers and hope to help and mentor others through the process. I've already learned so much about myself and am continuing to figure out why I do the things I do. Learning to eat to live, and divorce myself from food being a part of everything. Those of you newly sleeved, sending healing thoughts. Those sleeve sisters getting sleeved with me this week special prayers for us all. I'm excited to have so many folks to share our journeys together. It's not going to be easy, but life as we know it pre sleeved isn't so hot either. Let's get healthy. Thanks for the support!
  3. Hope everybody is doing well! Two days to go. I'm having a hard time thinking about anything else is this normal? I feel guilty it consumes me so much.

  12. I'm on the 25th and I'm feeling the same way. It's nice to see others going through the same journey. I am having a very hard time thinking about anything else. I feel bad that I'm so obsessed with this, but I spend so much time thinking and preparing for this day. Best wishes to you all!
  13. I had a forty dollar co pay for the psych that was part of the practice. And the nutritionist was $100 but I owed $70 after insurance. I have a high deductible plan and hadn't met it yet.
  14. So wonderful I love all these success stories!
  15. Congrats to those sleeved, prayers and good wishes for those of us still waiting. I'm so excited to start this journey. Being sleeved in NC on the 25th.
  16. Thanks for all the information, ideas and support. I'm very excited for my journey but have that fear of failing once again. I love to work out and have already signed up for my first 5k three months post op and will walk run if necessary but I'm doing it!
  17. Opps just realized you were looking for an experienced buddy. I'm not sure five days ahead counts, lol. But would still love an email buddy for support.
  18. Hi there I'm looking for a buddy too. Recently moved to Raleigh from Portland area. I miss OR a lot. I have similar stats and am 39. Would love to email. I'm being sleeved the 25th. And mom of two girls with a super supportive husband too.

  20. Wow some got out crazy fast! Just moved from pdx and love that city so much!
  21. Sticking to my pre op diet, also self imposed. It does make it harder. Trying to work out and walk as much as possible before my surgery, it's almost time. I'm very excited. I'm praying I have success like so many of you all! Also nesting at home it feels similar to when u had the kids trying to prepare everything.
  22. Congrats you are doing great. I can't wait to join you soon!
  23. Wow 40 in a month! Way to go I bet you are feeling great! Very good point about the excess weight. I was hoping for forty in about two months. I have a total of about 70 to go. I hanger not had a pre op diet really just did out on my own since getting close to my date and have taken off about twenty so far. Thanks for the responses. I love this site. I've learned so much here!
  24. I can't seem to see the tickers so was curious. If you are comfortable what was your high weight, surgery weight and weight two months out? It seems like many lose about forty by two months. Is the loss much higher for higher bmi patients, I'm starting around 30 bmi by surgery date? Thanks!
