  1. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully you'll hear about insurance approval soon. Welcome and good luck.

Zoe, without a doubt Deadwood is the show! I've missed a couple of the ones that have come on but I can catch up on them with On Demand. I believe the new season has started.
  3. Corgi, Congratulations!!!
  4. Good answer Alex. You are so right there are many factors that come into play. My first visit with the doctor was back in July and I just got schedule for March. There were several other doctors/specialist I had to see and insurance approval. But I think the wait is going to be worth it.
  5. Lsasha, Dr. Brodsky is a sweetie. You will like him. So if you havent had your consultation with him how do you have all of your appts scheduled for the nutritionist, etc.????
  6. Congrats, hope all is well on your end.
  7. Congratulations, sounds like you are really doing good.
  8. Sorry to hear that about hubby-wubby. You all will have to nurture each other.
  9. Marie, Phenegran suppositories dont sound like they are any fun!!!LOL!!! You sure I'm gonna need em.

  12. Thanks for the support. Kathy, I just got the heating pad. I think I'm just about ready. Jamie, I'm gonna add GasX to my list. Was the tylenol liquid???
  13. Hello All, I cant believe I have been in this forum as long as I have without my band. I joined this group back in Sept. I can say that I am more band educated thanks to each and everyone of you whether it's been good advice, bad situations, or just funny jokes and opinions. I have patiently been waiting for my band since last July, that's when my Quest started. I can't believe this time next week I will be only a couple of days away from bandland. I will be my Doc's first Adj Band, (with proctor, Dr. Jeffrey Allen). If my memory serves me correct I think Pat had this same proctor. I sure hope mine goes well. Yes, I am getting nervous and anxious. I just got my Magic Bullet in the mail the other day and played with it this weekend. I am going to do my grocery shopping this weekend. I've bought me a couple of books to keep me company while I recover at home. I am going to take 2 weeks off from work. I know a lot of you went back in a lot less time but I have the leave so why not use it. Please keep me in your prayers especially on March 30.
  14. Yummy, sounds really good. I think I might try this one soon and I dont even have a band yet. Teresa, send more recipes. I am going to need all the help I can get.
  15. Come on Wendy, time to check in. You're over the rainbow now in Bandland!!!
  16. Oh Jamie I am so glad to hear you are doing OK. The soreness in the muscles was expected and even that wont last forever. Happy to hear you are a real Bandster! I cant wait til March 30. Hurry, hurry, hurry. Congratulations to you!!!!
  17. So sorry to hear about the loss of one of our own. Even though we did not know each other face-to-face there was still a connection of friendship. I cannot believe that doing something which was so positive (making room for their dream house) could have turned into such a tragedy. Phillip, you and your family will be in our prayers.
  18. Good luck Sharon on whatever you decide.
  19. Hi Jan, Welcome aboard. The folks here have really been helpful for me and I hope you will see them in the same light for you. Good luck.
