I must have missed this thread somehow. But thanks guys, I am doing really good. Thanks for all of the prayers and concern. I love you all. I have lost 13 pounds so far. I feel full all the time and still am on my liquid diet until next Friday when I go to the mushy stage.

I dont know how I would have made it without that Magic Bullet. I am using it for all of my meals so far. I am still on liquids but it does a good job of whipping up that cream soup I had. Delicious.

Thanks for sharing Kelly. I got to see those types of pictures when i was in the hospital. They did that before releasing me. I was like how cool.

Penni, I hope your mom is feeling better. My mom had the same problem and was sick for some time before they finally got the right prognosis. She will be ok and soon as she starts responding to the right meds. Take care.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and concern. I am doing a lot better. I can go up and down the steps fine now. Not really sore and not really hungry, what's up with that??? Amber, My surgery was scheduled for 1p.m. but the drs. took me at 12:15. It went well. I stayed overnite. I will keep you posted on my progress.

Amber, I am glad to hear everything went well for you. I guess we are band sisters since we were banded on the same day. Congratulations and speedy recovery to you. I am doing a lot better, moving up and down stairs and staying up learning how to sip those drinks. Take care.

Thank you all, I am doing fine. I just had to make it down those darn steps to get to the computer. I came home yesterday and am moving a little slow but I made it!!!! Not eating a lot. I can only do a half cup of broth and half cup of juice then I feel full. I am really trying to drink my water as I know many of you have told me that is important. Hi All, I had my surgery on Wednesday the 30th and came home yesterday. I am moving slow but from what you all told me that was to be expected. Everything went well. I just wanted to give you all a shout to let you know I finally made it over that rainbow. :banana :banana :banana

Welcome Maria. I had a long journey. I started my consults back in July. I too had to go for a psych eval at the tune of $250 which was not covered by my insurance. Finally after many other doctor visits my insurance was approved in January. So you see, good things come to those that wait. I am having my surgery on March 30. Good luck to you and hang in there.

I got the same letter for UHC but i called them and yes everything will be covered as long as it's in network.
