Paula, Thank God for parents and good ones!!! That is a blessing to you and your family. The kids will adjust just fine. Hope you have a easy move. Good luck to you and your family. Just keep saying NO MORTGAGE!!!

  10. Hello David, Welcome to Bandland and congratulations on your fast weight loss!
  11. I have no idea how they figure it out either but I am a 10.
  12. Yes, I sneezed and had that same problem. It hurt for about two days and then just went away as quick as it came.
  13. Marc Same thing happened to me but that was because they told me to stop taking the diabetic meds 3 days before surgery and during the hospital they did not give me any of my meds. My number was high the day I left the hospital and they wanted to give me an insulin shot but I refused it and when I came home I started taking my meds again. By the third day all my numbers were back to normal. Just keep taking your meds you will be ok.
  14. I have pain sometimes on my left side like something is pulling but my port is on the right side. I just chalked it up to healing!
  15. I had no problems with gas. I kept wondering was I normal cause everyone else complained about it.
  16. Sounds like a good challenge to me. Can you tell me where to get a pedometer and about how much it costs?
  17. To be honest, I thought the girls on the left were two different folks than the ones on the right. You two have really lost a lot of weight. You two look great!
  18. Becky, Go get that band Girl!!! You are about to be over the rainbow and in bandland. Let us know how you are doing.

  21. Trish, Congratulations and Welcome to Bandland. Come on and give us an update. We are missing you and want to hear how you are doing.
  22. I know that feeling. I wasn't hungry either. I would drink a half cup of skim milk in the morning and not able to get anything else down til noon. For lunch you can have broth, or bouillon, if you do a cream soup make sure you thin it good with Carnation Breakfast milk (the kind you make from the pouch). You can have jello, tea as long as it's no caffeine, and juice (like apple juice). Hope this helps you out and get well soon.
  23. Yea, Bandit, not much longer now. Congratulations and good luck to you.
  24. Hello Trooper, I got prescribed the same thing but I must say mine worked for me. I only took the stuff for about 2 days cause I wanted to see really how sore I was. I was sore but I toughed it out except at nite I would take some just so I would get some sleep, I woke up every time I had to move and then had problems getting back to sleep. Leatha gave you one of the most best advices, use a small pillow to place over your stomach for getting up, coughing or laughing it works great. Try to walk that will help you too in the healing process. Stay strong it will get better.
  25. Paula, What a cutie! I think it's probably just like you said, that her neck muscles just have not developed enough to hold up her head herself. I'd be surprised if it's something else. Take care and keep us informed.
