  1. Amazing! Thanks so much for sharing. Is it just me or did anyone else think the music was creepy?
  2. *** episodes of left shoulder pain**
  3. I have had episodes of left shoulder since my lap band surgery in 2003. The phrenic nerve is usually to blame, and is somewhat common to be irritated after the band, and I assume the same holds true wih the sleeve, since the surgical areas are the same. The pain has gone down in intensity and frequency; I can't even remember the last time it happened. Definately check with your surgeon, but if it is phrenic nerve pain, just know it will get better in time. Revision to sleeve on Nov 6! Can't wait!
  4. The band does work for some people. Stay positive and follow your doctors instructions. The band did not work for me and I am getting the sleeve but that does not mean it can't work for you!!!! Best of luck to you.
  5. Bindi, I hate to hear that but better safe than sorry when it comes to leaks! I have had the band since 2003 and am sceduled Nov 7 for revision to the sleeve. I had a scope a few weeks ago and my Dr thinks that the outside of my stomach is ok based on what he could see, but it is always a possibility that you have to wait. Best of wishes to a fellow friend "falling off the bandwagon"!
  6. I will be sleeved Nov 6 as well! For now I'm more excited than nervous. I have had a lapband for 9 years and it has never quite worked out for me. I am 32, live in Chattanooga TN and am a hospital pharmacist. I'm excited to keep in touch through this journey we are all going on! I'm 5'6" and 220lbs.
  7. I am the absolute opposite of modest and can only hope I lose my pants in public!
  8. Just ordered the "Yes Whey" shots in orange, grape and fruit punch. Will experiment with the propel zero and others and will post my review!!! Thanks to everyone on this site, it has been a great source of encouragement and information!
  9. Yeah just read another post about the "whey shots". I just assumed it was all whey protein. Bastards! Will have to try the Isopure RTD and powders.
  10. My surgery is 4 weeks away and I am trying to find Protein that I like. Propel Zero Sport (1 liter bottle at Walmart) with 1 whey protein bullet (42 gram ones at Walmart) is so good! I used the grape protein in grape Propel and fruit punch bullet in the berry propel. I have not tried any Isopure or the other clear Proteins so I don't have anything to compare. Hope this helps!!
