  1. I am so happy for you!!! You must be on cloud nine and loving every minute of it.
  2. Really bad day 6, smoked today. GRrrrr so mad at myself, just gotta give it a go again tomorrow!
  3. Day 5 was a little rough but not too bad. Definately wanted the tobacco taste, but the nicotine from the e-cig helped. Today we start Day 6 .... one day at a time!
  4. Love it! My new goal is a 4 comfortably. In a snug 6 now
  5. What is Vg and Pg? Just makes my mouth sensitiven areound my cheeks and a little on my tongue. I've read where this is a side effect of the e-cigs in general. I think its just a matter of getting used to smoking them. We shall see. Day 5!!!
  6. Day 4 and going strong. The e-cig takes getting used to. It bothers my mouth some, but not too bad.
  7. Congratulations on living your life to the fullest! You are amazing and I always look forward to your inspirational posts. 3 years and counting! WOW.
  8. I hear you Pasquini, just one thing, if you drink dont drive .... YOu thought I was going to say don't let your clothes fall off, didn't ya??? LMAO I've had wine mostly, but I did have one beer or rather a 1/2 a beer once, it was sooooooooooo good. Didnt hurt my sleeve at all.
  9. M2G, you look wonderful and happy and oh so young! You look vibrant and amazing! Your smile says it all and I am so happy for you and the success you have achieved. Congratulations! Well done, well done.
  10. Kemo, you have done such a fantastic job. Congratulations on such a mile stone and good luck with the last 33 you will rock it I am sure.
  11. I did quit for surgery, took the carbon test they do , passed and started smoking again. I tried to quit again 1 1/2 months post op and did ok but gained 8 lbs in 2 months! So I went back ... AGAIN. Doing good so far.
  12. Woot I am on Day 3 of no tobacco cigarettes. When ever I get the urge, I take a hit off of my e-cig.So far so good. It hasn't been as difficult as I thought it would be. I think because I have the e-cig in my hand etc. makes the transition so much easier! I definately am going to utilize this thread through out the process. I think it will help me and might even help someone else that is trying to quit! So, Day 3, no tobacco cigs and doing great!
  13. Waaaaaaaay too funny, Congratulations.
  14. Yup, cold all the time! It was great during the summer here in Charlotte! My own personal air conditioning. Now that the fall is here things are looking just a little bit different, LOL.
  15. Thank you so much! I tried Hypnotherapy and it didn't work on me. I feel I am ready to quit, and I think the e-cig is the route for me. I was just saying in a reply to southernsleever before, its the hand to mouth action that I know I will miss and want and now I have that!
  16. Not odd at all. Thats why I think this is going to work. I love smoking too and I have been doing that hand to mouth action for 31 years.
  17. I definately will keep you all posted. Thanks, M2G! I have tried numerous times in the past, and am good for a bit then fall off the wagon. But like I said, as long as I keep trying, one of these days, something is going to click. I'm thinking this is the ticket though. Ivy, unfortunately, I know me well enough to know that I won't keep up with that and it won't affect me into quitting LOL. Thanks for the encouragement and congratulations on NOT SMOKING! SouthernSleever if there is a 7/11 by you they have the starter kits for 15 bucks if not check out xhale 02 online they are 20.00. Much cheaper than most of the e-cigs you see online. I'm cheap, I won't pay 100-200 bucks for an e-cig LOL. My sister bought me the kit in Colorado and mailed it to me. She hasn't smoked in a year and a half. She still uses her e-cig at times of stress but with zero nicotine. She gets the comfort of the action but not the risks of the smoke and nicotine. Atleast thats what she told me LOL. So I'm going to see how it goes. Thanks Lisa! Gotta keep on trying!
  18. I just posted about this, I am on day 2 of the e-cig. My sister sent it to me. She got the one from 7/11 and it was only 20 bucks for the starter kit. It works pretty good too. Good Luck! Hahaha we can be kick the smoking habit buds
  19. Ok peeps, trying to quit smoking again, using the e-cig this time. Going to ween myself down to zero nicotine. On Day 2 and so far so good. As long as I keep on trying. As much as I love smoking, yes, I love it , as un-PC as that is, it is hindering my whole get healthy process. So, gotta kick it to the curb. I will keep you posted on the progress. I have to take it one day at a time just like any addict, so I think I will post day by day, adding on to this post. Might help witht the frustrations etc.
  20. I am truly truly so happy for you. You have accomplished so much and have so much to be proud of and celebrate! Congratulations!

  22. Ali you have done an amazing job with the weight loss. I know 4 months seems like a long time. You already identified the issues so you know what you have to do to keep it moving Stop the cheez its, limit the drinking, and eat your Protein. You look great and now its time for you to feel great. You can't be feeling to good with your diet like it is. Try to focus and do what needs to be done. Utilze the board for venting and anything else you need. You lost 100lbs WOW!!! It takes some time for our brains and eyes to actually get to know eachother again.

  25. 46lbs in 4 months is great weight loss. What Tiff said is the best way to go about it. Getting your protein in via food is much better for you than the shakes. Congratulations on your weight loss to date!
