  1. Congrats! NSV are sometimes better than scale victories!
  2. Congrats on your success! 100 lbs is so huge, I'm halfway there, and people like you inspire me!
  3. I want a seat on this train too! 25 lbs to go, but for the first time in my adult life I know I can do it! I had a scale victory today, I've lost 50 pounds! Woop woop, 50 pounds gone forever!
  4. Woop woop....weighed this morning, 50 lbs down! Gone forever! I am so happy with my sleeve
  5. I just say "portion control and exercise" cuz it's true! =)
  6. I only took 6 days off work, but I kind of regretted that- it would have been nice to have a few more days of being home in my pj's =)
  7. I still have giant portion eyes too! Brings whole new meaning to your eyes being bigger than your stomach LOL
  8. There will be a next time Just won't be for a while LOL- I had my sleeve on 9/7 and can eat just about anything now, just only a few bites- I love it! Congrats, and wish you well!
  9. So so happy for you! Dr Davidson did my sleeve too, it will be 4 weeks ago this coming Tuesday. His staff is awesome, and the Nurse practitioner there Sandy is really great and gives you her personal cell # which she answers anytime except between midnight and 5 am- and she encourages you to call with any question or problem. On top of that, we live literally 30 minutes from each other! After your surgery is done and you can eat again we can go to lunch and split a kids meal LOL. Congrats!
  10. My doctor actually encourages me to weight daily- he said that research shows that people who weigh daily are more successful with losing weight, then maintaining that weight loss than people who dont weigh daily- he thinks it makes us more accountable.
  11. These are wise words! I went back to work only 6 days after surgery, and it was way too soon! I'm 2 and a half weeks out now, and starting to feel more normal, but if you can stay home and rest you absolutely should!
  12. So inspiring! This also brought tears to my eyes, as I could feel the joy and triumph in your words. Congrats!
  13. Congrats! Woop woop....hope to be doing the happy dance with you someday :w00t:
  14. I had my surgery on a Tuesday, and went back to work the next Monday- it wasn't easy, but I made it through....I basically sit a computer all day though, so if you do something more strenuous, I would definitely take maybe 10 days at least. I am 12 days out right now, and feeling pretty good. Good luck on your surgery!
  15. I made this recipe tonight....sooooo yummy!
