Acid reflux after surgery?
:svengo:I am trying to make the decision to have the VSG and already suffer with GERD and take Nexium daily for many years. I am reading that this surgery sometimes actually causes GERD so PLEASE HELP by telling me your experiences. Are you able to control your acid reflux? I really do not want to have to come back and get the RNY becasue of reflux. I was hoping that with the weight loss the reflux would go away. Has this happened for anyone? This is really the main thing that is holding me back at this time.

Irritated with people
Hey guys...aren't we prejudice against overweight people as well...if we liked it so much we would also like ourselves just the way we are and not be here trying to change ourselves. That's life we want to be perfect and everyone else wants us to be perfect to...it's part of the dream.

Plantar Fascaitis?
You can also go to a pediatrist and he can give you an injection that will make it all OK for a few months. I also had foot inserts made for my shoes. I went back for the shots again and now it seems to be fine. The pain goes away immediately with the shot. Good luck!
