  1. So excited for you Christie, it feels so wonderful to be losing...forever!
  2. Welcome Will! I remember well the feeling that you are describing, it is so exciting and yet scary. I wish you all the best.
  3. Super exciting! I am so happy for you, congratulations. We are all so blessed to be sleeved.
  4. I agree, I can't believe how fast you can lose with the sleeve.
  5. Yay! Congratulations, I am so happy for you I know you were really wanting to hit 50. I stalled for what seemed like forever and then finally hit 45 yesterday, 50 here I come!
  6. Wow talk about a rough start! I am so glad that things are going smoothly for you now, amazing weight loss, congratulations!
  7. Hi Iowagirl, how are you doing? Good to hear from you have you had your surgery yet?
  8. I have a $4.00 coupon for Prevacid that expires 6/26/2010. If someone wants it just respond on here so everyone knows it is gone and send me your address in a private message and I will put it in the mail the next day.
  9. Congrats on kicking the PPI and on the 70 lb weight loss in 4 months, Keys!!! That is SO exciting.
  10. Good for you for deciding you need to do this while you are young! Hope you hear good news soon!
  11. Wow, your weight loss in phenominal so congratulations on that! I can't even imagine how horrified you and your mom must have been when your incision popped open, it would be bad enough to see a gaping hole in yourself but worse if it were in your daughter so kudos to both of you for not passing out! Totally understand you on the "what do I do now that I can't eat myself into oblivion" thing. I am 8 1/2 weeks out and now that I have gotten used to my sleeve I am experiencing more of the same feelings that you are, therapy definitely should help with that. Maybe soon when you are feeling stronger you will feel like dealing with your boyfriend, I doubt you will want to deal with a bad relationship in such an exciting time of your life. Things are looking up for you and you may not want to take him on this ride!
  12. Sorry to hear that you had some problems during your testing but at least with this guy it sounds like you will at least get a fair assessment! I wish you all the best.
  13. So glad that you are doing so well. I remember feeling so much better at only one week out.
  14. Thanks Texaschick, I am sure you will do great and love your sleeve. How exciting that you are getting your date tomorrow, I will never forget that wonderful feeling! I will be looking for your post tomorrow!
  15. So glad you are doing so well Kalew, you will be amazed at how quickly you feel better. Best of luck!
  16. Wow Girldep I was 255 and am now 215 and had surgery the day after you! How funny that we are so similar. You cracked me up with your crutch/workout! Glad you are doing so well.
  17. So happy to hear you are on the mend Tinytummy, what a nightmare you have been through. Thanks for sharing and praying for your continued improvement!
  18. Very exciting! Kudos for cooking for the kids too, my youngest is 18 and she thinks I am trying to starve her to death!
  19. True Wannalise, I went to the movies on Sunday and I did not miss that extra 40 lbs in the seat one bit!! Made a huge difference!
  20. Congratulations! How exciting that you won your appeal.
  21. Is that the churning "hunger" sensation that I get daily? I have been so confused because I usually only feel hungry after I eat! When I have my two cups of decaf a day my stomach doesn't hurt but it goes crazy, I feel hungry and it growls and carrys on. I have never taken a PPI and my surgeon never mentioned one.
  22. I am currently in a stall, just trying to remember that the scale will eventually move again!
  23. I am checking in to say that I did NOT get my points!! I did 30 minutes on the treadmill on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. My goal is Mon-Friday 30 minutes each night. I really appreciate this thread and am really going to strive to hit my 150 this coming week! Congratulations to everyone who acheived their goal!
  24. Congratulations, very exciting news! I remember that feeling of disbelief that I had my date set.
