  1. oh no! I just posted on the 'other' thread - wishing you a well recovery. So glad to find that you had already checked in. Ok, so now you can take a deep breath and pick-up where you left off! What a wonderful reason to smile about! :biggrin1:
  2. Hey Robin! Just letting you know that Im here. Hurry and report in so we dont get too worried.
  3. http://lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=10787&highlight=randy+jackson Here's a thread where LBT discussed Randy Jackson's WLS. Seems like 'they' say it was the Fobi pouch ???
  4. Sadly, I noticed his weight gain as well.

Eileen - that guy was awesome! I copied the link to send to others - thanks for sharing!! He was good!
  6. adding to Photonut's response ~ from what I remember, the bulbs in the stand up beds are farther away from your skin - which makes you less likely to burn. ??? I only used the stand up beds for getting the places that the bed couldnt get. The bed was my main target - but the booth happened about once a week. And regarding how long would it take before you noticed a tan... I would think maybe 4 (12 minutes???) sessions (gosh, I sound like one of those young girls that work at the tanning shop) and you should see a change. Jess, youve never been to a tanning bed???? (duhh, its pretty obvious Paula)
  7. Diane, Ive been out-of-pocket for a few days, so Im just now seeing this thread. one word... WOW! You look so darn WOW! Isnt the sight of seeing Onderland enough to put a smile on a person for weeks???? aint nothing better! (((btw: I want your legs. They are waaay too pretty for you to keep them. Are you interested in selling them on EBay? hehe)))
  8. *sigh*the anticipation! Almost like pregnancy - LOL. Find peace in knowing that IF this is supposed to happen - IT will! ((but Im crossing my fingers for ya!))
  9. Hi Jessie, Im a Sun Worshiper! *waving my hand* I used to do the tanning beds, but I noticed tons of little RED dots (freckles??) would appear after each session - so that scared the crapola out of me. Now I just do the REAL thing. I suggest you try what works for you. You may want to use the tanning beds just to knock off the shine, THEN use the nautral sun for a deeper longer lasting tan. Some go to the beds only to even out their Natural sun tan (like under the arms and between thighs) Ive -also- used the bottle tan for my legs *ONLY* (I used the light tone, so it wasnt a drastic color change from top to bottom) and it pacifies me for some time. *shrugs shoulders* Sun is good. Sun is bad. Basically EVERYTHING is. But for me, the sun gives me a Vitamin that makes me feel better. It lifts my mood, relaxes me, PLUS I physically look better afterward. Kinda like what sex does for guys, sun does for me. :Banane13: Just finding the right tan for you is the key!
  10. Thanks Tricia K for the info.! Yeah Cindy! June 5th is SOOOOO close, wow. Keep us updated, k?

Hey Pam, Thanks for the update. I took both the spray and the pill - but neither seemed to do anything. Almost like a placebo, you know? What brands did you buy?
  12. :happybday2: Hope you had a wonderful day Anne. God bless.
  13. WHAT?!?!?! Why are you gonna TRY to lose weight BEFORE seeing your WEIGHTLOSS Surgeon? This isnt making sense to me! Im thinking he needs to see you in this state. If you get 'some weight off' he may think you have this all figured out and NOT encourage more weightloss sugery. ok, time for Dawg's wet fish slap! Please keep the June appt. Please?

America is in shock. I am in shock. LBT is in shock. And... Chis is in shock. He thought is was going to be Katharine to to leave. His look of complete surprise was very obvious; almost like he wanted Ryan to repeat it. On another note, what a horrible emotional rollercoaster for those that Simon gives negative cuts too. Its really unfair. Katharine was a complete nervous wreck tonight. *sigh* Only 3 more! What are we gonna do when AI is over??
  15. (((((hugs))))) God bless you, Sister. I agree with the others ~ the greatest gift you can give her (and yourself) is forgiveness, love, kindness... You are special. Dont ever forget that.
  16. Am I missing something? From this line, it looks like the reflux is under control? If so, then WHY the 6 week deadline? Did he take you off the reflux med? I would think that band removal is LAST resort for a reflux cure. Doctors dont like doing this any more then WE do. Just hang in there. Im trying hard to remember if Ive read where an unfill DIDNT help reflux issues. Usually this takes care of the problem - immediately. Without the need for unbanding. Dont worry till you NEED to. ((hugs))
  17. Amy, does the word 'Hurricane' frighten you in any way? We are having our annual family 'togetherness' on Memorial day. Mikes parents have a big family renuinion every year on this day. Its very nice; but the 2 days of traveling with fighting kids, high cost of gas prices, finding a replacement for my small job - is making me reconsider if this is something we NEED to attend this year. Our summers are usually filled with lots of sun and Water. Oh, and lots of 'bonding'.
  18. My sister is 5'7 - approx 325 and SHE has crohns too. I asked my surgeon about her getting the band with this disease ~ and he said NO. I remember this issue came up not long ago. Have you tried looking around the LBT storage files (under the search title) to bring up forgotten info? Good luck. And if you find anything worth reading, please share.
  19. Wow Susan. Those are wonderful realizations! RUNNING up stairs is a BIG thing. And my mouth dropped open when I read that you are ONLY 37 pounds from losing the century mark. Oh Happy Day!!!! What shocking realizations have hit you lately? That Im no longer obsessed about wondering if Im the largest person at ANY function. Its not even something that crosses my mind. And Im no longer 'scared' to go anywhere ~ like dancing, a casino, or even being in front of a large crowd, or anyplace where I may see someone that I havent seen in years. Obesity was my prison.
  20. LOL... I loved LOVED this list. Definately made me smile. You two are such an awesome team. And many many many more to come! :clap2: :clap2: GOOOOO Janet and Mikey!!!!!!!!!!!

Mary, in my readings on Roseaca - they say to use a green tone for conceling. Maybe Eucerin is the right thing to use? So many choices makes me overwhelmed. Im useing the Aveeno Ultra-Calming moisturizing cream under my make-up. And the metro-cream at night when I remove all the goop off my face ~ I also have some Aveeno Clear complexion daily moisturizer (in a pump bottle)that Ive applied a couple of times here and there INSTEAD of the metro cream. Im not sure if any of this stuff is working. Kathy, Im scared that the olive oil would make my face extremely oily. Im gonna wait and see what a weeks worth of this treatment's gonna do for you.
  22. oh Lisa! I love your biker pics! Makes me wish I was a little 'wilder'. btw:are you braless in these photos? you sexy thang.
  23. Sarah, whats wrong with your face? You look gorgeous to me. And I love the new 'do'. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Thank you - Thank you for showing us a pic!

Bye Bye Paris. Im getting bored with the show. Anyone else?
  25. Megan, Take it one day at a time Girl! Dont look at it in a "Month long" ordeal. One day at a time... even one moment at a time. I would *think* that a complete unfill would make me SOOO paranoid of gaining, that I would actually freak everytime I would put a bite of food in my mouth. Ultimately losing, instead of gaining (like Alex). Hang in there. Oh, and you get a BIG hig-five for quickly responsing to the Reflux issue! :high5:
