  1. I have a question. I'm getting banded in about 2 weeks but from reading this isn't the point to not get stuck instead of finding ways to let the wrong foods into your body? Maybe I'm just not educated enough on banded life but I'm really curious.
  2. Omg congrats!! Got any progress pics?
  3. Lol I love that! Congrats.
  4. I am scheduled for a December 13th band. I am so excited fellow bandsters!
  5. I do not know if this is available for any android users but I have an iPhone and an iPad and I found this new app called "see me get thin". You put your weight in and you take pictures on whenever you log your weight and you get a picture lineup of what you look like at each weight in one easy to use app it's free right now and I just wanted to let everybody know so they can try it out if that appeals to anyone. Sorry if this has been posted before.
  6. Am I the only one thinking it'd be ironic if they locked this post?
  7. That is so awesome!
  8. That's awesome! I plan on making the healthier kids menu my go to place when I eat out.
  9. I'm not on the band yet but I'm preparing. My breakfast right now is some vitamins. A veggie powder thing, and a protein bar.
  10. That is so cool. I can't wait till my band!
  11. Yeah I just changed mine a bit ago. WAY too much going in my inbox lol.
  12. This is awesome! I will have to check this out when I'm on my computer.
  13. Yay! Congrats! How do you feel?
  14. My plan is to have elastic band pajama bottoms, a loose shirt and some Gas-X from what I've been reading.
  15. I had the scope and you get knocked out, at least I did. It's really easy to deal with and I was in and out in like 2 hours.
  16. I didn't have to do that but it wouldn't surprise me if others decided to. I don't recommend it, however.
  17. I had the nutritionist, psych evaluation, 2 sleep studies, echo, stomach scope, stress test, and monthly weigh ins. The blood test was the last thing I did. I think it goes by the practitioner and the insurance requirements and your obesity level.
  18. Congrats! I had to wait 3 months and we. Just submitted to insurance last Wednesday so I'm just aching for a response so I can get mine done! See you at the finish line!
  19. I think you need to get a band buddy in your area and find a new doctor! That stuff is ridiculous.
  20. Don't let your old habits control you! Do something else you like to do, like read a book, go shopping, play a game, pin new things to Pinterest, do a craft, write a short story, fantasize about your dream outfit or vacation, go for a walk, jog in place, etc! There are toms of different options.
  21. Omg that's so awesome! You are inspiring, thank you for sharing!
  22. That's so awesome! Congrats. I hope I can lose 100 that quickly!
