  2. How did the small pill go down? I'm not a fan of liquid meds.
  3. You guys are so sweet! I've got a lot to lose so I imagine I could get lucky and lose a fair amount the first few months. I would be happy with 40 pounds!
  4. Thank you, very much appreciated!
  5. Curious to know how much weight everyone lost the first 4 months after surgery. I start traveling exactly4 months from mine and wonder what I may look like!
  6. I thought there was a link for free protein packet samples. Can someone point me in the right direction?
  7. I'm in Schaumburg and will go to Good Shepard in Barrington for my surgery using Barrington Surgeons.
  8. Yes, anywhere. I have no idea how to access blogs anywhere.
  9. Hi. I am in the suburbs and I just got my surgery date. Can't wait to be part of the losers club.
  10. Those of you who blog, would you share your blog site and name for me to follow?
  11. Wow, I can't believe I'm getting so close. My surgeons office submitted to insurance today and I got a tentative date of Oct 14th for my surgery. I had actually hoped to get it done the week before but since I just saw the surgeon for the first time last week, I should be happy. Lol. Pre op is oct 8th to see the surgeon and nutritionist. I will be 10 weeks out at Christmas, which makes me feel better about the whole procedure. I will be completely healed and able to enjoy shopping, wrapping, and Santa! Time to tell my husband, I guess!
  12. I just got Oct 14th as my tentative date!
  13. Same date for me, in Chicago!
  14. What was the lecture he gave you? Mine discussed my results with and talked about me being a good candidate mentally. It's funny how true and false tells him about my little mind.
  15. Went for my Psyc eval today and passed. He said he has never had someone finish the test so fast or give better answers!!! Our office sends approvals to insurance on Thursdays. He is finishing up the note and I'm hoping she can submit tomorrow. So excited.
  16. Has anyone tried Body for Life or Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle after WLS? They were both good when I was younger and didn't have 115 pounds to lose and I wonder if the concept is goof for after my surgery.
