  1. Newbie are you drinking thru a straw? Oh I forgot...to add Refried Beans to the list above.
  2. Still have gas. Tried to get through the day without a pain pill. NOPE...didn't work. My back is killing me. But I am thankful that I am better than last week. Cant wait to eat my boiled egg. How's everyone else doing?
  3. Has anyone else has this problem? I can urinate just fine but my body no longer gives me that "need to go" feeling. So I just go empty my bladder periodically throughout the day. Told my surgeon and he said that has nothing to do with the surgery. Well Mr. DR. my pee-pee wss fine before you stranguled my stomach. So I am calling the urologist.
  4. Yes that is correct. My recommended fat free foods are applesauce, cream of wheat, yogurt, Soups (tomato, lentil, split pea, creamy types), boiled eggs (mashed up), bananas, cottage cheese, tofu, pudding, or anything with these types of consistency. I even picked up some Gerber Bananas lol. It seems my dr has slightly different pre & post of instructions. Pre op I was only on Clear Liquids 24 hours prior to surgery.
  5. Wow u get scrambled eggs? I can only have hard boiled eggs mashed up. You're so lucky! Lol congrats on your success.
  6. When are u going in?
  7. Call Dr. now and tell us what he said. Ok...go on...right now missy.
  8. It's probably gas. Keep trying to take in deep breaths as much as you can and walk, walk, walk. Hope you feel better. I am day 8 post op and I still have gas pain and still taking my pain meds. Are you taking yours?
  9. Yup I sure will. Dr. said I was slightly dehydrated tdy.
  10. How long ago was that? What is it now?
  11. What is your temperature? If its over 101.1 I would monitor it for a few hours then call your doctor or go to the ER. Hope you feel better.
  12. Finally feeling better. Still a little weak though. Went for follow up visit with dr. everything looks good. I've graduated to Mushies! (Thank You Jesus). My homework is to start walking 30 minutes per day. Still passing gas and taking 1/2 Vicadin to get thru the painful gassy stages. I can actually say that I am finally seeing the light.
  13. Was your Powerade red? My Dr. had me on clear liquids only. I couldn't even have Egg Drop Soup they said that's not clear. Hope u r better soon.
  14. Hi & welcome to your new home.
  15. I was trying to be slick. Lol I had been pre approved for the reduction. Once I've lost all the weight I am quite sure my insurance co won't pay for it. Welp that's what I get.
  16. Congrats G.I.! So glad to hear that every thing went well. Wow you worked very had with your preop diet and lost a lot! Rest easy and I wish you a speedy recovery.
  17. Ok I had planned on getting my boobies lifted after Lap Band Surgery sometime in December since I met my insurance deductible but after all this gas pain I've had since surgery. NO THANK YOU! I don't want another surgery NO time soon. Nope.
