  1. The scale doesn't lie. But as I'm sure most of us know. I don't really "see" my 36 lbs weight loss. I was feeling like I needed some encouragement so u snapped a pic. I'm happy to report I can SEE the difference. I still have a long way to go, but this is a start
  2. Good evening fellow lapbanders! Just started a new job so it's hard to mix my shakes on the go. What on already mixed shakes do you guys like? I've seen Muscle Milk, Pure Protein, and so many others. Suggestions, thoughts. Any info would be great!
  3. I'm taking the wait and see approach. I feel I'm still hungry after 1 cup but once I eat I can go hours in between meals. Maybe it's working. I'd guess I'd rather be less filled than too tight.
  4. Meant to say no fill due to my port flipping and finding out on dec 2nd
  5. Ok long story short. Had my surgery 10/16- went in for first fill dec 2nd. Flipped surgery to correct 12/9. My doc put in 2 ccs on 12/9. I don't notice much of a difference. I go back first week of January for my port follow up. Is that too soon to ask for another fill? I want to start slow I was thinking maybe asking for 1 cc, just wanted some input

  8. Thank you! It was hard for me to see until I did a side by side. I have a long way to go. And sometimes I feel like i could easily fall back into my old eating habits. But then I remind myself this was a major surgery and a major life event. Not just another diet

  12. So it feels good to be saying almost two months out and I'm down 31.7 lbs! I had a minor set back with a flipped port which was fixed Monday with a 2 CC fill. I'm not in the green zone, but do notice I get fuller much quicker than before. I'm thankful for this site to be able to share success and vent frustration as needed. It's nice to have some many supportive people that know exactly what I'm going through happy weekend!
  13. Thanks for the input! Mushies is a good idea!!!
  14. NSV went out shopping for a Christmas party and naturally picked up a 3x top. Wouldn't you know it, too big! 2x is fitting and not even snug. Who would have thought. 2x would make me smile! So happy to read everyone's NSVs!
  15. Good morning! Had my first fill yesterday and I'm so nervous about what to eat today. I was on liquids and my dr said I can progress to solids today. Any suggestions would be welcome

  18. So I am 2 months post op and went in for my first fill yesterday only to find my port has flipped has anyone had this happen to them?
