  1. Congrats on your band! I felt the same way for 4-5 days after my surgery then I was able to drink without being so "full"
  2. I agree. I'm 9 days post op and have had the tummy rumbles, but they seem to be easier to control then they were preband.
  3. Congrats on your 17 lbs weight loss! I'm day 9 post ops as well, I'm down 11 since surgery date. Way to go, and healing is the most important at this point
  4. Way to go!! I went to my post op apt today and I'm down 22.6, feels good!!
  5. Thank goodness I came on here. I'm day 5 post op and I'm so hungry. I thought it was just me. We will get through this
  6. I'm glad it's not just me. This is a great way to describe it to someone who doesn't know the pain we're talking about. Hoping you find relief soon!
  7. Hi fellow banders! I'm day 3 post op and I feel awful, not from the surgery so much as a terrible stiff neck and sore throat. Anyone else experience these symptoms after their surgery?
  8. I have one more class, after the one in 2 weeks, then I have to get the big approval, but my Dr says early fall. Lots of prep time
  9. Thanks everyone for the support Can't wait to be healthier that's for sure!! I've noticed that and thanks for your willingness to help!
  10. Great advice! I've been in contact with them, and they are wonderful. I just made the choice on Lap band 2 weeks ago and went to my first "class" only an hour and a lot of info, my next one is a one on one and it's 2.5 hours. I think that's where they really dive into the info
  11. Thanks, it's nice to have a place with people who know what you're going through and can help support each other!
  12. I have this worry as well, but I think the fact we know our past may help in this process. Best of luck to you!
  13. Hello everyone! I'm new posting here but I have been reading for a while now. I find a lot of your stories very inspiring. I just started the process and have my 2nd class in 2 weeks. I'm super excited and nervous all at the same time. Now I can finally find out what "mushy" foods are and all the lingo that goes along with being banded.
