  1. I'm so happy to read that others are hungry too.
  2. I'm so happy to read that others are hungry too.
  3. @playrider, I have one. I try it and keep using my advair.
  4. I never noticed till my surgery on Monday how many food commercials there are on tv? It's a cruel joke. I'm starving but trying very hard to stay on course.
  5. Congrats, I was also banded on Monday. I walk and swing my arms around & that has helped a lot.
  6. I was banded on Monday & woke up with a tube (there were complications that requires a 2nd one). The sore throat hurts for 2 days but thank God no more. Don't worry have faith and you'll be fine. Good luck
  7. I'm on several meds & take them whole. I take the meta early. Just take one at a time, spread it out. Feel better
  8. Meant to say that walking seems to reduce pain. Hope you feel better
  9. I feel more pain today than yesterday. I get and walk.
  10. Good for you. I just got on the scale and went up 2lbs. So far so good on broth
  11. I was also banded on the first. Happy Independence Day to you all. I was discharged this morning (breathing complications) but no real pain. So happy about that, I've been walking a little bit of jello, broth & ice pops. So excited but must still rest. Good luck to us all.
  12. Thank you for the advice. Thank God for this support group.
  13. Hello, I'm confused how much broth, pops, jello should I consume in the days after surgery? I've read many source that recommend no more than 3oz and aim for 64 oz but is that 64 oz of broth & water/ice. How many jellos? Going nuts already but excited.
  14. I'm so sorry about your situation but I strong fly believe that this is not the time for the surgery. God/life/karma have a wowed way of realigning us when we're off course or headed for danger. Keep positive. If you dream it, it will happen.
  15. So glad to hear that your home & well. I had to stay overnight due to asthma attack during procedure. Feeling much better now. Congratulations
  16. Thank God it's over, not that bad pain is mostly at port area & minimal asthma attack during procedure but all is good. I stayed over night as recommended for treatment but I must say all is well no hunger just dry mouth. On a note: for any/all that takes meds make a list of dosage & not only make a note on phone but email yourself a copy & whomever is taking you plus paper. I only did digital & cyberspace stole it. On a funny note: after hours of no Water they ask for urine sample & I dropped it in the toilet. Way to go. I was allowed a do over later. Good luck to all banders.
  17. Good luck, I Hadith today & I really don't have much pain or has. You'll be fine
  18. My surgery is tomorrow same time. God luck. I'm cleaning as well. The funny part is my mom is all nervous she made me broth and accidentally dropped a note into the container & when I showed her, her response was "oh, that's where I left it". When I check in tomorrow I'm going to ask the dr to give her a Valium and me extra to deal with her. Ha ha. All will be good.
  19. Congratulations, keep up the happy feelings.
  20. Good luck. I like the idea of mixing the clear I to crystal light. I bought some ice pop makers to creat my own frozen treats.
  21. To mamasass: thank you ill keep you in my prayers as well. We're going to be fine.
  22. I'm scheduled for 9:30. Can't wait. I just hope my mom won't freak me out. She's been a bit on edge for days, she gets like that for everything. I'm calm, she's like Felix unger on speed and I'm Oscar. Ha ha ha.
