    I am also a Texas girl. Born in Ft Worth but currently live in GA. I miss TX and get back as often as I can! You can take the girl out of the state, but you can't take the state out of he girl! I also am in the early stages of this journey. All i have left are the Nutritionist visits, then submit to the insurance company for approval. I think my surgery will likely be early May. This site has been a real blessing for support and information along the way! Good luck! God Bless Texas!!!!

    I was also hesitant about telling my mom. But, I was pleasantly surprised at how supportive she is being! I'm still in the pre-surgery/approval stage. Good luck with your folks!!!!
