  1. I really needed this feedback today. Thank you it was one of those weekends where friends had me second guessing myself, I know i'm on the right track but it seems like i'm a train and a few people are trying to derail me.
  2. I wouldn't have thought to bring half this stuff! Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions I also have to get my hospital bag set up. I know my date will be here before I know it.

  6. So far so good all I have left is my cardiologist and pulmonologist appointments left then its a matter of waiting for GHI so hopefully my surgery should be somewhere in late october yeah just in time for the Holidays! My Bariatric surgeon did mention I might have to take stomach meds along with my plavix so I dont get an ulcer down the road i dont know how I feel about this yet. Thanks Missy hope all is well with you.
  7. The abdominal cramps are the worst. Showering is tough too lately. I'm ready, I know it's not gonna be easy but i'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

  12. Recycled thanks again for your sound advice. Sherri congrats on feeling 90 lbs lighter that gives me a ray of hope that your cardiologist took you off the plavix, One of many reasons for this surgery for me was to get off most of the meds I am on I dont mind vitamins but the surgeon said I would be on plavix and a med to prevent ulcers.
  13. Thanks recycled I appreciate it. If I can ask your opinion should I lean towards rny or the sleeve?
  14. Cool thanks. Good luck to you so the plavix and pepcid combo is probably for life then?
  15. Hello all. wondering if anyone takes plavix for heart stents and if so did your Doc prescribe stomach meds such as zantac after your surgery along with the plavix? Thanks i'm very confused pre-op debating between rny and sleeve.
  16. Hi new here just wanted to know if anyone else takes plavix and if they're doing ok with it post surgery. My surgeon said if I have to continue plavix for my heart stents I would need to take stomach meds as well after surgery any adverse problems with this or no. Thanks.
  17. My first appointment with my Surgeon is on Friday as well, I'm going to sit down today and try to come with as many questions as possible for the Doc. the good, the bad and the ugly. For example hey Doc. what number of your patients have had complications? This frightens me the most! Good luck on your Journey.
