  12. I try to eat this way most of the time it's tough. Here is great cookbook if you can get over the silly tone of the book and don't mind some salty language they have excellent recipes.
  13. This looks interesting but have not seen it at the Market yet. http://beyondmeat.com/products/view/beyond-burger
  14. I waited about a month after surgery. No complications. I used to drink beer too fizzy except for Guinness, I stick with bourbon I usually make manhattans or vodka with a splash of pineapple. I can have about 3 drinks before I'm blitzed. I drink twice a week.

  18. I understand where your coming from Mrs.Dixon it is a tough process and I agree that some folks here sugar coat things a bit. Kid gloves do not work for everyone nor does everyone have a great journey. Sometimes I feel like you where I say to myself damn I wish I could go back to the way things were but if I did that I'd still have a my health issues. It's a double edged sword and I understand that, IMHO people need to hear the good, the bad and the ugly before making their own decision. Therefore I have been brutally honest with my friends who are interested in this surgery. Good luck and hang in there!
  19. Hi William, I have coronary artery disease I had two stents placed in my heart with a 99% blockage in one artery and 80% in another and I have similar co morbidities as you. Basically in order to get the surgery I had to get an additional clearance from my cardiologist he was very supportive of my decision. Good luck!
  20. Used vaping to quit 2yrs ago still miss my cigs I used sunflower seeds to fill the void after I stopped vaping.
  21. Responding to posts is a two way street. As far as beer I tried Guiness and it felt like I swallowed an anvil if drink which is rare I do bourbon, whiskey or scotch beer hurts.
  22. Premiere protein bars taste like dirt but have an unbeatable 30g of protein per bar.
