  1. Yes everything I am on now is pregnancy friendly lol I made sure. No I will never forget this and it will worry me the next time I get pregnant. Stacie how long did it take you to get pregnant again and go throughout the whole pregnancy?
  2. Stacie I was actually having a miscarriage broke my heart because I was so excited. I believe it could have been my BP medicine I was on that could of contributed to the MC. The BP medicine I was one could cause birth defects and I didn't know that! I am on something safe now but it blew my mind that the medicine I was on could hurt the baby. Now I'm on something that's completely safe but the thought still makes me sad and sick at times but I know someday I will be able to be a mom hopefully
  3. I started bleeding Thursday and went to the ER and was told it is a threatened miscarriage so I'm having to wait until tomorrow to get my results on my second hcg results. I hope and pray that they go up. If you pray please say a prayer for me tonight
  4. Congrats on your surgery! And thank you I'm not sure if I'm scared to death or excited or a little of both but I'm not sure if I believe the home test or not hopefully I'll get an appointment with my doctor tomorrow and thank you for that link it does help to see where someone has been in my place
  5. I have taken 3 pregnancy test and they were all positive so I am going to make an appointment tomorrow with my PCP. I'm extremely nervous because I've only had my lapband for a little over a year and I am down 77 lbs. My question is if I am pregnant can I have a normal pregnancy with the lapband?
  6. I actually found a slim fast protein shake that has 20g protein and 2 g sugar and they are really good! Comes 4 to a pack. I have only found them in chocolate and they are hard to come by.
  7. GNC lean protein, slim fast with 2g of sugar and 20g of protein, Adkins shakes are good, I'm going to try the muscle milk cookies and cream today :-)
  8. Yes I agree carryon we are all in this together no matter what surgery we have we all have the same main problems :-) thank you shaman I didn't think it would ever come lol!
  9. I'm not either but now that I've found these hopefully I can :-)
  10. Oh yeah I forgot to post the most important pic from about 5 days ago (I only weigh myself once a week but wanted to see what I was that day). I haven't been able to weigh on a doc scale for a long time if I was 350 lbs or lower!
  11. You look like you're in your 20s in the second set of pictures lol :-) awesome how much you have changed between the two sets of pictures
  12. Sometimes I do have weird sounds from my tummy lol. I saw somewhere that it's just apart of banded life haha but I don't know that for sure. Thank you bandista I saw that post too lol!
  13. Have finally lost 50 lbs since April 2013 and I'm so excited :-) I can't really tell yet but I know what the scale says so I'm going with it haha!
  14. I know slim fast usually is high in sugar but I've found a shake by them that has 20g of protein and only 2g of sugar! It is so good! If you can't find one you like you should go try it.
  15. Mine is in the same place and I wouldn't change it either! I like that you can't see my biggest scar because it's underneath my underarm :-)
  16. I'm weighing in at 347!!! That was my goal! So now it's all profit
  17. I have two cousins that had gastric bypass and two cousins that had lapband and one of my cousins that had GB almost died twice from complications and the two that have lapband were doing good when they were actually taking care of their band. I didn't want half of my stomach gone so that's why I decided the band. I watched so many YouTube videos on success with lapband and I researched for about 6 months. To be honest gastric bypass and the sleeve weren't even in my mind when I thought about weight loss surgery. Every surgery will have its complications ESPECIALLY if you go against rules but I think only you can decide what you believe is best. My opinion lapband might not take it off as quick as gastric bypass but with weight loss I know slow and steady wins the race.
  18. Glad I saw this because I was wondering the same thing and tried calling the dr office but couldn't get them.
  19. The night before I went I couldn't sleep because I was so excited! Is it weird I never had a doubt in my mind or a what if? I knew either way I could die and this was the better decision. :-) you should weigh the differences between not having it and having it...I bet having the lap band wins. Good luck to you and remember whatever happens was going to happen anyways. You will do just fine and LOVE your new life!!!
  20. In 19 lbs I can play my Wii fit game I've had for over a year. I tried to play once and I was over the weight limit at the time but now this is my new small goal!!!
  21. 349 as of Monday night! Under 350 is such a big deal because I accomplished a little goal that I've never been able to do before lap band!
  22. I still have a bag in my cabinet....I didn't like it. They say it taste like cake mix but I would rather have the GNC lean shakes before body by vi or even Atkins they are good too.
  23. Go to more and then my settings and you can change it
