I'm lucky my surgeon is only making me do the liquid diet the day before surgery.

At my pre op apt. Did my blood work and met with surgeon, now doing EKG. Dr. Says I don't need to so a pre op liquid diet!!! Only the day before surgery. Sooo happy about that. Starting to get really nervous! Need to arrive on the 10th at 11am

Ok so Prepping for surgery and after. I hear people freeze broth in ice cube trays. Is this the portion size ill be able to eat? Also has anyone made day cream of celery with milk, strained and froze??

Yes I'm asking about full liquids. Do you freeze cream base soups?

When I am aloud cream soups do you make them with milk? Can cream soups be made ahead and frozen in ice cubes? Trying to figure out what ill need to prep for the next 30 days

Ok so those of you doing a preop diet what does it consist of? Kaiser had a preop for us to loose the 10% so 1200 cal program. I go for preop apt this Friday and surgery the 10th. What kind of liquids are you on for that part right before surgery?
