  6. Missy, No i haven't eaten anything at all other than liquids and jello, Thats why i am concerned., It just feels like I have taken a huge bite of something and can't get it down. No food here. Liquids for me only.
  7. So I went to work today. Its been seven days since my surgery I came home after work and decided to take a nap. When I woke up I have feels like a lump or something in my throat and just area like I have taken a huge bite of something and I am trying to swallow. The only thing I have had today is water, unsweetened decaf tea, jello, and protein shakes. So why would I be feeling like I just swallowed a huge bite of food and can't get it down. Any one else ever experience this.
  8. I weigh every monday after a quick trip to the potty. No clothes same time each weigh. Also I agree many factors will cause a fluctuation in your weight...even having sex. Be consistent.; )
  9. Tomorrow will be 7 days post-op. I am thinking about going back to work tomorrow. Anyone else go back after 7 days? Just want to make sure I can do it.

  14. I am postop day 5 and I know How u feel. I purchased the Big lap band book and there are lots of ideas in there that might help. Chew gum and drink protein it does help. Hang in there. Yesterday I was questioning whether I could do it. Together we can...never alone

  17. Day is day four. I am feeling a lot better. Gas seems to be subsiding and I am feeling better. I am feeling slightly overwhelmed right now. I am trying to eat every two three hours. 2-3oz. I am really not sure how much I am supposed to be consuming. I feel like I am struggling. My family eats pretty much whatever they want when they want and it hasn't bothered me until today. They only thing I really want is some mashed potatoes. Help. I need some encouragement

  21. How soon after surgery did you start to see the weight loss? I have lost 25 on the pre-op I want to lose another 100. My goal weight is 150-160.
