  1. It may help if I said I'm using the mobile app I don't have the option to use anything other than Facebook friends or email addresses and suzzie request me if you can emeryhns
  2. I tried the new dannon Greek ff yogurt it was sooo good, it was blue berry. The only down fall was my husband had to go to 3 stores to find it. I saw the commercial Saturday and had to try lol
  3. It seems like a lot of us are on MFP and I would love to have some band friends to follow. Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out how to add friends based on username just emails...can anyone explain?? My username is emeryhns my email is emeryhns@gmail.com
  4. Thank you all for your advice!! I'm supposed to be on mushies but I physically am able to eat solid food no problem, I tried. But the mushies are not satisfying me at all. It's frustrating...
  5. I have my first appt since my surgery coming up and was wondering if anyone got a fill at their first post op appt ? I have 0 restriction and could eat a horse at this point, I'm starving and feeling pretty discouraged that the band may not work for me. I know it's just an aide for my weight loss but I was at least hoping that I wouldn't feel so hungry.
  6. It is very odd how different each dr practices for the same procedure but it does work out in the end. Also to add the egg salad is not sitting well so it was probably not the best idea but hard boiled egg is on my list of can eat food.
  7. That's great! I had my surgery on Monday and was on clear liquids for 24-48 hours then go to full liquids as tolerated, my surgeon wants me on solids by my 2 week post op visit. I've had a lot of incision pain but I am eating egg salad in vet y tiny bites and so far so good, now I just used egg and mayo but still going well.
  8. Sorry I was not around, I was banded yesterday so I'm pretty sore but walking is really helping me. How are you feeling? Have you starting eating yet?
  9. Walk walk walk!!! I was banded yesterday and walking really is helping with the pain.
  10. I was banded yesterday and I too have a lot of pain but it is primarily from the gas and hernia repair but walking really does help a lot.
  11. Hi all, I was banded yesterday morning, in a lot pain right now but the gas pain was the worst so I just kept walking and walking and it truly did help a lot. Good luck to everyone getting their bands this week!!!

  13. That was me until 4:30 today. Today is my day 3 my surgery is Monday, I only had to do the diet for 1 week, but I called my dr because I felt so weak and sick. They allowed me to go up to 800 cals and at least 80 g of protein. No carbs at all but I can have nuts, chicken and egg to eat in addition to my shakes. I feel so relieved!!! I would call!!!   14. I'm also 5'2 I was 230 now I'm 218 and my surgery is Monday. My goal is about 80 lbs. I am on a liquid diet and I'm dying. I have the worst headache and feel weak.

  16. I have 5 more days, I don't know how anyone was able to do it longer than a week. I think being bored is the biggest issue I'm having. I'm a stay at home mom and I need to do something out of the ordinary to make this week interesting lol
