  1. Thanks, Sallie! That helps!
  2. Hi March Bansters! How is everyone doing? I was banded on 3/13 and I have now plateaued for the last 4 weeks at 52 lbs lost. I even feel my hunger starting to creep back in. Any suggestions on best way to overcome a plateau?!? I'm so frustrated!! Thanks in advance!

  5. My doctor doesn't even believe in the pre-op diet. I ate normally right up until 36 hours before surgery, and then just liquids the day before!! You will be fine! Best of luck!! Best decision I ever made!

  8. A week ago today I had my third fill (7.5cc in a 10cc band). I am able to keep liquids and some solid foods down. However, I have thrown up many foods I think I should be able to eat, (dark meat chicken, egg whites, etc.) and I am chewing my food completely / taking small bites. Like I said, I am keeping down some things. And I had been successful with the previous fill. I have lost 46 lbs since my surgery in March. But has anyone else experienced this after a fill? Did it get better and you adjusted to the "new normal" or should I consider having some saline removed?
  9. Mine too--first fill after 6 weeks and then every 4 weeks. I just had my third fill today!

  11. I was banded on 3/13 along with a hernia repair. I am still having a lot of shoulder pain from the hernia repair. Has anyone else had this shoulder pain? How long will this last?

  15. Hi March Banders! I was banded on 3/13/13, and I have lost 30 lbs in total (16 post op)! Loving my choice to get banded! I had my first fill yesterday (4cc), and it did not hurt at all! I am finally feeling less hungry!! Thank goodness! Best of luck, everyone!
