  1. Hello everyone As of yesterday I am 1 week post op I heard been stressed the importance of walking which I have around the house but I'm nervous it not enough ... Haven't yet driven my car doctor says I had to wait a week ...
  2. I'm actually feeling the same way today was actually the first day I really started to miss regular food. I'm thinking b/c of being around family and a lot of food today What to do? Is this normal ?
  3. Hello, sorry to hear your having trouble I'm 5 days out as well, for 2 nights straight I was having terrible gas pain but didn't know at the time it was gas. I tried the antacid pills they don't work. I called my Doc and asked him b/c I was scarred he recommended as much walking as I could, I also discovered that my sugar free popsicles actually helped out some ... Hope you feel better soon Best wishes
  4. I went through the same feelings when I first came out if surgery and was in so much pain. Now that I'm feeling better I'm ok with my decision. Your going to do great ! Best wishes

  7. Hello Everyone:) I had my surgery on July 16,2013 and from what my doctor is saying I'm doing really well! My first few days I was in some pain but he staff at Yale new haven hospital were amazing. I thank God that today I'm feeling awesome besides some soreness and these gas bubbles that really hurt. Been walking as much as possible have not weighed my self just yet I have my follow up appointment on July 29th I'm going to try and wait till then:) well see how that goes ....it really helps to have the support of people who love you once I had woken up and felt the pain I was like omg what did I do but with there help support I am feeling quiet fabulous. One think I wanted to asked is does anyone know how to help with this gas those bubbles can be painful Tootle:)
  8. Hello my surgery went well a little soar but that's expected! Remember take it one day at a time. I'm grateful to have had some wonderful family n friends around to help me it definitely makes a difference. Good luck !

  12. After all the worry and writing a whole post as I was going home to call, the hospital called me! I'm all set for tomorrow!!!
  13. I'm sched for surgery tomorrow and I've been having those same last minute should I do this thoughts as well. I know that I need this help this weight has been a life long battle for me and I'm excited to finally have the help that I need In the sleeve. Wishing you all Good Luck !!!
  14. Tomorrow I am scheduled to get sleeved I'm mega excited and nervous at the same time! I'm a bit worried because the hospital has met given me a time yet ... I find this strange kinda giving me anxiety . I'm not sure why I was told I would know the day before surgery here it's 1 pm a d still nothing .... Anxiously waiting is this normal ?
