What do you want to do?
Hello all ! Two of the major things I wanna be able to do is not have to request a seat belt extender on a plane, and be able to tuck in my shirt. I haven't been able to comfortably tuck my shirt in years, I would be embarrassed because of that lower tummy pouch.

I'm being sleeved oh July 16th and I'm worried that going on a 8 day cruise I just returned from Sunday was a bad idea . My doctor only requires me to be on a high protein low carb diet for 1 week but I feel like I messed up . I'm hoping that some of my not so healthy choices don't effect my preparation for next week ...- Bought my first "Large"
I havent yet had my procedure done, but reading post like yours inspires me! I got excited thinking about the day I would be able to fit a large. Thank you for sharing- Where to begin... Pre op

My Surgery is not yet sched but I kno it will be in July. I'm scheduled to go on a cruise the end of June and preferred I waited until I came back. My Dr told me that for my preop diet I would not need to do all liquids but to eat low fat for that week. I've been reading a lot of your post and notice a lot if people have to do the all liquid diet. I'm just a bit confused about that, as far as the low fat diet goes Im not sure where to begin. I want to be as prepared as I can before my date comes. Does anyone have any suggestions on low fat preop diet? Thanks in advance- From Lapband 2 Sleeve
Thank you guys for your comments looking forward to sharing this journey and learning from others journeys- From Lapband 2 Sleeve
Hello Everyone, I'm new to the site, I was a member of the Lapband forum, after doing research and being able to ask questions I decided to go with the sleeve. I'm excited about the new journey that I am about to begin and happy to have a site such as this to help guide me...- Could of had a May Surgery date...
I was confused to why the nurse would question my choice ... She had, had the sleeve so I guess she felt it was better ... Definitely thru me off...- Could of had a May Surgery date...
Hello, I'm feeling at bit overwhelmed at the moment and really need to vent to those who understand. I went to the weight loss information seminar today and I got a overwhelming amount of info about all the different bariactric surgeries. By the time i ha gotten all this info and a nurse tried to convince me that lapband was the wrong choice I freaked! I could have had a date in may but I decided I wasn't ready. Im graduating on the 19th and going on a cruise in June. After that I think I should be ready to decided on a date.....- May 2, 2013 IS the Date For ME
