  1. I had a MAJOR upset last night with crying....i am not afraid, but i am just emotional as I know that my relationship with my best friend of all time "FOOD" will never be the same....
  2. no i will be banded tomorrow, my surgeon doesnt do that type of surgery, i want to do it slowly so that it will stay off and i wont have any major side effects, like vit. deficiency, losing my hair...etc...I am sure you will be looking great in December! My daughter graduates May 4 and I want to lose at least 15# by then...whoohooo!
  3. my doctor told me that this was a relatively new thing, he said the only plus is that with the plication you will lose weight more quickly....you are a small thing anyway so i would just weigh out your journey...just how soon do i want to get this weight off? Good luck!
  4. I chose to have my surgery at this time as with Christ, he died and rose again and all was anew! This is my approach to my weight loss surgery...I want to rid my body of all this excess weight and let only positive people in my life, no naysayers or gossipist...so this is the blog where the old Lori dies and the new Lori is born anew. I have a large family..I am the 7th of 8 girls. I can tell you that being in a family of this size and nature that we all dont get along, this is a vow to my new me....no more negativity and only positive. I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter, her boyfriend is such a pain in the a$$ and I have chosen to not deal with him and with that I will be in need of constant prayer! Life is too short to have to deal with jealousy and hateful people. Thanks for listening!

  18. Today was my last appointment before surgery, it went well and my surgeon is soooooo nice and light hearted, I will be having surgery on Monday, April 1 at 9:30 am....if everything goes well Dr. H said I could leave the next day around 1pm!! Yay!!!! Did any of you have to stay longer, I am just wondering, I have seen a post for lapband with plication, asked if that was something new and he said yes, I asked him what it does and it is like a sleeve with the band and he said you will lose weight faster, I said no, I want it slow as I dont want my gut dragging the floor between my legs...lol.... When I was new on here and looking around, I saw a couple of posts that chastised a person on a pre-op diet and that person left this site, I want to let you know how much I appreciate you and your support for those who felt the same way I did. We come here for support not a lecture, I want you to know that I will be thre for anyon e, even when yu fall, just look me up and message me, I dont want anyone to feel unwelcome in here! Thanks again! Be Cool and LOVE one another! Lori
