ok, here's my take on last evening Mandisa--fabulous as ever and BEAUTIFUL! Ace--better than last week Chris--YUM, I think he's gonna win if Katherine gets Laryngitis.... Taylor--disappointing, all that hopping around Bucky--good bye Paris--I don't like her hyper smiley-ness, but she was great! Lisa--nothing special Katherine--my favorite--sooo pretty and talented Kevin--a surprise--better than expected, but who dresses that kid????? Kelly--I generally don't like her--too much makeup and who CANT sing Patsy Cline?!!! Elliott--I thought he did a gREAT job last night, but doesn't have the showmanship/personality to go the distance.... Well, that's my 11 cents worth.

Interesting--people love Katharine! (I do, too!) but look how far down the pike Taylor is! And Mandisa is waaaay down there, too--makes no sense to me!

I think there are a few Bunnies-to-be who didn't get names--if this is your situation, please PM me asap. We had a little duplication of identities and that messed me up:faint: , so if you didn't get a name to buy for PM ME ASAP! Honestly, I just got home from working a 12 hour shift--one of those trips home when it seems like you just can't get home! Had to stop at the store, then had to get gas (or i surely wouldn't get home!). Now sitting here with my tiny family, reading all your kind and lovely words. I made an appt for next week with Dr. K. It took me till after 3pm to pick up the phone to do it, but I did it! I totally understand the idea of having to "do" something to have a starting point and I am ready to do that (with all of your help, of course!) I am thinking seriously about the grief counseling thing. I think I need to do that, too. Good idea. We are still up to our butts in snow up here, but there are Patches where you can see real earth on the sides of the roads and I know spring will be here pretty quick. darcy! Where the heck have you been?????? I think about you so often and wondered if you were ok.....!!!! Figured just busy with work and kids! Yep, I am going to call tomorrow for an appt. I need a jump start of some kind and I guess that's the best way to do it. Losing Mark was just like a kick in the stomach. He was only 28 and every day I still can't believe he's gone. Here's the short version of my story-- My sweetest in the whole world brother died in September. At that time, I was really losing weight quickly and of course, it continued for a while afterward because I just was so sad I could not eat (who would have ever thought that could happen!) So, then it got cold and I got depressed and just pretty much sat around like a lump of fat until now--Prior to september, I could fit easily into a regular 14 pant. Now, I can't keep them snapped and I could just cry. I haven't seen my doc since October and when I was there, I got the impression (could be a wrong impression) that I was about half way filled and that I (me personally) needed to do more to make this band work for me--I don't know if I can do it!!! I am so bummed that my big fat butt is popping the snaps on these formerly cool looking pants--and I recently had the NSV with my necklace--but I don't want my neck to be thin, I want my butt and hips and belly to GO! Should I just call and make an appt to discuss? I hate going there--it's NOT them--they are wonderful and supportive--I am just feeling like a failure and a freak. Talk me out of this tree, please. I am eating all the wrong things. Today started drinking my usual 64 ounces of Water, so that's a help to getting on the right track again. Help! I fell off the wagon.

LOl at myself, too--I took the chain off and inspected it closely--it didn't LOOK stretched out, but you know how your mind tries to make sense of stuff--I thought it MUST be stretched! LOL--I never gave my fat neck much thought before! Now I have to go to the jeweler to get it SHORTENED! (and shop for more bling[no! must pay taxes!] {no! must shop for bling!}---maybe will let DH take it in for me...... LOL

I swiped that AI contestant pix with the X's and the Kevin "makeover" from another board that I frequent, so I can't take any credit for it--but she updates it each week, so I will drag the new one over here for all of us to keep track of who is who! the website is votefortheworst dot com. It's an interesting read (kinda) and sometimes funny!

it was only a 30 minute show tonight? Right in the middle of Melissa singing her "goodbye" song, it cut to some show called the Loop! We just sat here and stared at each other--so used to a two hour "dissecting the performances" bonanza! Oh well. I think Ace was shook right down to his shoes--he better really whip it into shape if he wants to stick around-- ugh Kellie Pickler--Jessica Simpson--interchangeable smarty pants gals laughing right to the bank! if she stays around much longer, my money is that her Momma will crawl out from the background and try to cash in!

My take on the whole evening.... Ace: bitterly disappointed--and that fluffy hair! Bucky--eh, and that fluffy hair! Kevin--time to go home Kelly Pickler--please go home Paris--a little over the top--I can't quite get right with her.....and what in the sam hill was she wearing? Lisa--I thought it could have been better--kinda boring Katherine-I just LOVE her--she is fabulous-- Mandisa--amazing--no matter what crap they make her sing--always good! Taylor--I am a huge fan already--he is sooo great Top pick for the night, however, was Chris--he is so talented--and I was not a big fan until last night! Voted for Taylor, however!:clap2:

It's been a long time since I have lost anything that really made me go "hmmmmm, hot"--ha ha. I have a diamond on a necklace that my husband gave to me for a wedding present. I literally wear this necklace 24/7 and have for the last 8 years..... except to have it cleaned, of course...must maintain the only bling I have! Anyway--I have been thinking lately that something is wrong with the chain--and was actually close to taking it to the jewelers, when it occured to me--it hasn't stretched out like I thought, hence, diamond dangling between my boobs where no one can see it, as opposed to up higher where it used to be--it's longer because my neck isn't as FAT!!!! a lightbulb moment if there ever was one. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.... :clap2:

I totally LOVE Mandisa, too! She is amazing. I am just not a fan of Kelly--she is cute, but there is something I don't like about her--maybe it's kind of a "jessica simpson" type of dumbness....I dunno...just don't like her so much....The whole calamari thing is being beaten to death.

Waves frantically at Paula for a Taylor Hicks update! I had to work until 7pm then my son announced his science project is due TOMORROW morning--if he wasn't so cute, I would kill him! J/K.....sorta Anyway, so even tho I wanted to plunk down on the couch, I spent the next three hours teaching him about mixtures of colors and chromatography--he is SIX! We melted the coating on M and M's with Water and noted the colors on coffee filters.....ugh. Someone send me the mother of the year trophy, please. ugh. All that, and missed Taylor--! waaaah. What did he sing? was he aMAYzing?

I was not a fan of Kelly Pickler until last night--she is soo sweet and like Simon sez, she has that "x factor" that is so likeable.... I also thought Paris was a huge disappointment! I thought her outfit was so distracting and the song was just wrong for her. I, too, love Mandeesa, but I hated what she had on---I think Simon said "it's so cabaret". My favorites are Lisa and Kathryn McPhee and Taylor Hicks, of course!
