  1. 235 this morning. Down 3.6 lbs this week.
  2. Sorry guys, I fell asleep. I ended up taking some pain meds and using a heating pad one cycle. Swelling is gone now, I did however call the doctors office back (called before they were open earlier) and explained what had happened and that I wanted to check if it was normal and what to do next time. Anyway, waiting on a call back from them. I'll let you know what they say. No, it's not an infection, I don't have a fever or anything like that, and it's not my port site, it was literally my insides and my port were super swollen that was causing the pain. I'm still a little tender there , but nothing like it was
  3. Where is your port? Mine is right above my belly button
  4. Pretty sure she's talking about kaiser insurance guys! Lol
  5. And I totally did a body pillow, but apparently I just moved around it. The kicker? I've only had 3 hrs of sleep so I know I wasn't on it for THAT long
  6. I just tried to call, not open yet. Don't think it's emergency number worthy since I know what the problem is. So, they open at 8 or 9, I'll call again then.
  7. Update : just took some of my hydrocodone ap and put my heating pad over my stomach. We'll see if this helps.
  8. I hurts pretty damn bad, but I'm 99% sure it's from the pressure that caused the swelling. What can I do to help the swelling go back down?
  9. I woke up on my stomach (normally stomach sleeper) I'm 2 weeks post op and in bad pain near port area. My stomach is swollen as well. I can't stand up straight because it hurts from the swelling in assuming. Help! Anyone else like this? What can I do? Other than the obvious of not sleeping on my stomach...can't help that since I turned in my sleep.
  10. Oh, I was also banded with gastric plication
  11. I was banded on the 5th and I had my 2 week post op appt today and I am down 14lbs. I've been on soft food for a week, gained 3 lbs back and finally got those off and down a couple more.
  12. Congrats! That's awesome!
  13. I was given the box for mine and it says lapband ap standard. After looking it up mine looks to be like 10cc's. can you look yours up too?

  15. I was also banded on the 5th I'm on soft foods now, and I actually gained a lb yesterday. I had plication done as well, so I can't eat very much to begin with so I'm curious to see how much of my post op weight I gain back
  16. I take gummies also, I'm almost out of them though ( I'm only 8 days post op). But I ha ent had the sugar in so long that they are sickeningly sweet now :/ guess I need to find some decent chewables
  17. I am 8 days post op and I am still having shoulder/back pain. I hope this crap goes away soon!
  18. I had mine done and I was an outpatient. I left the hospital about an hour and a half after surgery(as soon as I woke up and could walk). I was banded, had the greater curve plication and a hiatal hernia repair as well. I had to stay in a hotel that night near the hospital(it was 4 hours from where I live) that hernia repair is a b***h, lol
  19. I'm 7 days post op, tomorrow is 8, but I'm on soft foods, meat included (chicken, shrimp, ground beef, fish) as directed by my surgeon and move to full menu on post op day 17, so while it may seem soon, all of our meal plans are different. My surgeon also gives your first fill at 3 weeks as well.
  20. Job could kiss my butt, lol.
  21. I get my first fill at 3 weeks post op
  22. Congrats! I feel you on the delay, mine was supposed to be in at 9:30, didn't get rolling to the or until 3. I can't complain through, the guy before me had all sorts of complications and his lapband surgery ended up taking 5 hours. He was older and apparently had other surgeries and lots of scar tissue. I was in and out in about 45 minutes my husband said. I had the banded gastric plication and a hiatal hernia repair
