I had my first checkup after surgery and I was down 10 lbs.... (1wk before and 1wk after)...first fill at 6wks... (5/9)...

First of all I want to wish everyone here a very Happy Easter..and for all the ones still having gas pains, my Dr told me to get papaya eminences, said it worked better then Gas X...I found it at the GNC vitamin store...I was banded on 3-27 and I had very little pain or gas, my incision are what is giving me a fit, they are itching...but a bit of anti itch cream works wonders...I hope everyone continues to do good, and can make it through Easter..

I am banded now...YAY....and I am home from surgery. I came home yesturday early afternoon. Doing good for the most part very little discomfort so far..The most painful is the headache I have had since surgery, they told me to drink plenty of the gatorade G2 for the electrolytes...Had a coffee this morning and a feeze pop..Had some jello last night.. Well I sit and ready all the post of how everyone is doing and I wish everyone the very best in there journey,,My journey will begin Wednesday (3-27) morning (just waiting on the time to be at the hospital) so by the evening I will be among the banded group. I also want to say what a birthday present to me "The start of a new life"..I am kinda nervous about this surgery but I know it is going to be all worth it. All my meds are melt in your mouth or liquid...got them all ready...Now I am just waiting on the time...Good luck to anyone else that is going in this month and Congrats to all who have been banded...

I sold Advocare and did the 24 day challenge (it did not work for me) but it is some good stuff. I do see any reason as why you could not use the shakes. You would not need to use it all. But I would take your Dr the info and ask to make sure it is good...

Mine is set for Mar 27...preop is Mar 20...I am excited but scared...
