  1. Lol and I thought I was the only one that did this. As I stated in another post, I love reading what you have to say. I actually wonder what the cashier thinks rather than what I feel another should or should not purchase.
  2. Fabulous darling!!! Simply fabulous.
  3. Congratulations to you!!!
  4. Wow! Thanks for sharing your story. Welcome to banderland and much success to you.
  5. Wow!!!! Amazing!!! Congratulations. Life at goal is great.
  6. I totally agree with u. I didn't "see" the difference in myself as well until my relatives took some photos and that's when I saw myself even though I looked in the mirror at myself everyday, I still saw fat. Congratulations u look great.
  7. Interesting observations ladies. Something to definitely consider. Thanks for your responses.
  8. I guess wearing makeup does have something to do with it. I have never been a makeup person after I had my first child almost 20 years ago. Now that I'm smaller, I still don't wear makeup. Only on special occasions like when I'm taking pictures. I have had so many people tell me that I look like I'm in my twenties and they too know that I'm 42. I'm just curious what is it that makes many of us look younger than before. I guess that's something I'll have to research.
  9. Thanks for responding. I'm actually below goal. You read the ticker wrong lol. I do not exercise as I have osteoarthritis very bad. I just stick to 4 oz of food at a time and that's it. Good luck with your revision surgery.
  10. Awesome!!!! Congratulations!
  11. Glad to hear that. Hope you guys work out and congratulations on your weight loss.
  12. As several have already said, wearing a sports bra for a while works and in regards to your waistline, wear any pants with rubber or wear dresses.
  13. Yes, it is a normal part of the process. You have to walk and use a heating pad for about ten to fifteen minutes every hour or so also helps. Just take it easy, continue your pain meds and all will be well. Welcome to banderland.
  14. Yes, it certainly does have a mind of its own lol.
  15. I am three yrs and one month post op and I do feel as though my band has tightened up on me. My last fill was done the first week in August and somewhere around November just before Thanksgiving I was seriously considering getting a small unfill but decided against it. I can eat and drink just about anything but I have to take teeny weeny bites and sip my drinks. There are some days that I'm just not hungry so a protein shake, water, coffee, and tea are what I have on those days. Other days I can literally eat all day. Nibbling that is.
  16. I've been looking at pictures of myself and a lot of other people when they were morbidly obese and this question came to my mind. Losing a substantial amount of weight really makes one look younger and I have no idea why.
  17. Nice transformation. Awesome!!
  18. Doing good. Keep up the good work.
  19. Amazing!!! You look like a different person. Congratulations!
  20. Thanks for the link. That answered a lot of my questions. I knew I had the AP Standard 10 but after reading what other bandsters had I too was curious about the differences.
  21. I have the allergan and doc put in same spot and does the same as yours. She pokes out every day but doesn't go anywhere lol.
  22. Yes, I love carbs but they don't love me. I got a little complacent lately and have been eating them like they're going out of style. Well, the scale is showing it. So I'm back to the drawing board of trying to eliminate carbs out of my diet again or at least have them very early in the day so I can burn them off.
  23. Um no fortunately not. My band won't allow me to chug anything.
  24. I'm not gonna say I'm very religious but I am nonetheless. I'm actually going to church later this evening and again tomorrow lol. Anyway, my religion/spirituality has nothing to do with my weight loss. I took this journey for my physical health not spiritual. There is a big difference. Hope you find the answer you're looking for.
