First one for May???
I think I have my first stuck episode. I waa eating canned pears and thought I had it mushed up enough.I was on the phone and not paying attention though. I just feel pressure in my chest. It doesn't hurt or anything and I can still get water down. Do I try to pb it up or should I just wait and see if it goes down on its own.

Best treat ever...8 days post op
I was still on liquids so I only used half a frozen banana and some milk to make it more liquid. I would think 1 whole frozen banana if you're looking for a treat.

- Coffee (not decaf)??
Tim Hortons is quite similar to dunkin donuts actually. When I was in NYC they now have a timmies right close to Times Square. Its definitely Canadas favorite and it may have something to do with the fact that Tim Horton was also a hockey player...lol- Very intimate question....
I thought maybe its because I'm turning forty. Its insane...the while gambit, dirty dreams and everything.I'm also single and am trying to make weight loss a priority but wow...its hard to concentrate. Once I'm healthy and thin and get male attention I'm going to have to come with a warning label frankly. Glad I'm not alone...- Greek/Italian meat balls.
Can't wait until I can have these foods...that may be the first recipe I cook...- burrito recipes

I read in Womens Health that you can blend frozen bananas. Ripe. I just tried it with a half cup of milk in my magic bullet and it was fantastic. Hope everyone can try it and enjoys it as much as I did.- Coffee (not decaf)??

Cat...maybe we should look into the Queen City Marathon...or something like it...for a goal. How exciting...I've always wanted to be a runner.- Vitamins and Protein
- Coffee (not decaf)??
I had my first timmies yesterday with one sweetener and it was delicious...power to the coffee!!- Tastebuds messed up?
My doctor mentioned that a soda once a week our once a month wouldn't necessarily harm anything.I haven't had any...I'm less than two weeks post op.some things taste differently to me already...but its all for the best. Good luck.- Vitamins and Protein
The hemp protein was so gross!! Would not recommend that at all. my nutritionist suggested a whey protein that I can add to soup or juice or anything I happen to be eating our drinking. Does anyone know of a good one?- Vitamins and Protein
- Fatigue and three hour naps...
I'm a little nervous because the hemp protein that I bought had quite a bit of fiber in it. I'm going to check with the nut and she if she thinks its okay. I haven't had any yet.- Vitamins and Protein
I could not, once I was banded, eat those nasty vitamins that were recommended by my nut. Today I went directly to a vitamin store and purchased Natural Vitality Optimum Liquid Vitamins. I tried my first dose and they're so much better! Although expensive, they are worth not having to chew vitamins. I also bought organic hemp protein in tropical flavor. Has anyone tried the protein that you just add to juice? I could not take another thick gross protein shake. Let me know what your thoughts are and if anyone has tried either liquid vitamins or the protein for juice.- Fatigue and three hour naps...

Oh lady...I can. I was thinking it might be a lack of calories. I only made it to 11am at work yesterday.I'm hoping to feel better soon...but I'm in the same boat. I'll muddle my way through until the two week appointment and can hopefully get on some better food... mushies are sounding delightful. 300 calories a day isn't cutting it. Talk to you soon my friend.- May Surgery Dates???
