  3. I was banded last Thursday and am super itchy. You have to bear it cause instructions on paper says no lotions on stomach. Hang in there ...it will get better.
  4. Hi forthefuture ... Sorry to hear about your gas. I bet it's got better. Mines has. Hang in there. I must tell you i suppose to be on liquids for 6 weeks but i can't. I been eating soft foods like egg sandwiches. I almost thought I broke a internal stick the other day. I didn't stuff myself but the stomach was working really hard. Hope I didn't mess up the band... But i can't live on liquids for 6 weeks.
  5. Ya i got handed on Feb 7. istarted diet Feb 4 and I am down 19 pounds. I had to go back to hospital a few days ago. I found out i have fluid in my lungs. Now about 1/2 hour ago just got another problem. Where my port is at... Big incision ... It's leaking. I don't know what to do? Freaking out here.
  6. I was driving my husband around in the morning. When I got home my shirt had a 3 inch circle of blood with puss on it. My doc is closed today and I don't know if the is normal. What should I do? Help?
  7. How did your surgery go?
  8. Yes this app is great. It gives you a chance to talk about your experience and vent. It's nice to know that others think your thoughts and your not crazy. Lol

  12. The pain was also more than I anticipated as well. I was expecting to be walking around pain free after 2-3 days. Ya right! I got that idea from the hospital support groups and that was a lie. I heard these people say," i was back at work in 2-3 day." That is some bullshit and now I know if the said that it cause they didn't have anymore sick days or vacation. I took a short term disability which I am happy cause Im going back March 25. My 1st doc appt is Wed. Not sure what he will say but i hope he tells me to eat solids. :-) Well i am happy to say i can drink easily just not to many ounces like before. I just am so tired of laying Down...back cramping and neck. Ugh! But if i sit for long periods i hurt as well. Spansess-how much weight have you lost since surgery? What did your doc say?

  17. I was banded on the 7th as well. Im in the hospital now with lots of gas pain that I can't pass. I could bearly move well and can't wipe my private well cause you have to bend. Supposely the will give me luquids today and see if i can hold them down. If so I go home but I think I will struggle more at home. Especially with my two daughters 2 & 8. hubby is home now taking care of them.
