  1. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family.
  2. Medifast...that stuff made me sick as a dog. I got to the point where I would rather not eat than gag down another packet. Blech!!
  3. I like the white chocolate raspberry but even preop I find it way to sweet and can't eat more than half a bar.
  4. Return that stuff! I love that GNC takes it back no questions asked. I have the Twin Labs bariatric chewable and I actually like it. It's fruity but not super sweet.
  5. Love them. Only tried the chocolate and when I get tired of chocolate I just add pb2 or sugar free syrups to change the flavor.
  6. Never had it. Is it carbonated?
  7. I'm the same way about wanting to know asap. I have a generic guide from my surgeon but this lays it out way better.
  8. I'm kind of weird in that almost everyone at work knows but my husband is the only family member that knows. I'm not ashamed and I know they would be nothing but supportive...I just feel like its none of their business. To be totally honest, I'm not positive I've figured out the whole reason behind not reeling my family though.
  9. Where is the best place toget the strips? They have an 18 pack at Walmart for $5 but with people saying they take 2 at a time that seems expensive. Do the chewable ones work just as well?
  10. You ladies are so helpful. I think I will take it back to target since it was pretty expensive anyway. I'll hold if on buying the rest of the stuff too. Thank you!
  11. I'm preop scheduled for October 3rd just getting everything together. I've started all my vitamins and have been drinking shakes for breakfast. I bought the clear, non-thickening fiber supplement yesterday and was wondering how much fiber I should be taking postop to help keep me regular. From reading other threads I will also pick up some MOM and Miralax and I've got my Gas-X chewables already.
  12. I'm in the springs but not sleeved yet. I'm scheduled October 3rd but by the time I recover we'll be in the blizzard of the century lol
  13. Oh my gosh, how exiting! It will be even more satisfying knowing you worked so hard to get there. Congrats!
  14. I'm still pre op at this point but I've been practicing behaviors for after. I actually find that I drink more controlled (shaker sips) through a straw. My surgeon is not against straws.
  15. I've requested 2 weeks and 2 days. My surgery if on a Thursday so I just added the 2 days. I figured I'd need the time to get used to eating that way more than the recovery but I guess I won't know till I get there.
  16. Thank you so much for asking!
  17. Sorry, that's $8-$15 per pair. They have more expensive ones but I'm cheap lol
  18. Have you ever tried ordering online? I've used zennioptical.com for years and have been very happy with all of my $8-15 glasses. I'm hoping my astigmatism goes away when I no longer have a fat face pushing my eyeballs out of shape lol
