  4. I had my psychiatric evaluation today. It went well. He said he would not give me a thumbs up or of thumbs down. But that he felt like I was well adjusted and he hopes everything works out for me. He had lots of questions like why didn't I think I could lose the weight without the surgery because I'm doing so good pre op. I guess I'll know something later. I feel pretty good about it. I'll keep you posted!

  7. I've seen topics where members having surgery in the same month have kinda banded together to offer support and encouragement to one another. I think this is a wonderful idea, and I'd like to see if there's anyone having surgery in March that would like to support one another. I have a tentative date for the second or third week in March. I have UHC through Georgia Pacific and they use BRS for approvals. I don't expect any delays, nor does my surgeon's office, so she saved me a spot, so to speak, lol. Tonight I have my psyc eval, and Monday is my information class, I have two more visits, 2/5 and 3/5 of my six month supervised diet, and on March 5th when I leave my PCP's office, I'll take my worksheet to the surgeon and we'll submit to insurance. That's where I'm at! I'd love to talk with others that are looking at the same time frame as me!!
  8. Thanks!! And yes, please add add add! I need to start shopping! Lol!
  9. Not weird! Like pbear said, some docs just have certain requirements, and others base it on your history... it think my surgeon just wants to be safe.
