Hello everyone! Haven't been on here in months!!! I was banded January 25th 2013 and last time I checked ( need new batteries for my scale lol ) I was down 45lbs...am I being stubborn for thinking this is slower process than I thought ? lol :S well that being said... im having a REALLY hard time eating....I am sliming almost all the time... at least once a day... I do have 4 young children and am on the go all the time and so I wonder if its just first bite syndrome every time ? or if I should go get defiled a little.. but I went in for a 2nd fill because I plateaued for like 3 months :S.... hope yall are doing well!!! excited to get back on here and start reading how everyone is doing and look at the pics! My date has been changed from jan 30th to jan 25th pre-op diet is very hard at night !! I really want cereal or toast!!!

i started solids today and i definately over did it trial and error i guess ) my husband brought me a small chicken shawarma for lunch and i thought i was taking my time... i didn't eat all of it but afterwards and up until now (3 hours later) and im still hurting like chest area? has this happened to anyone? and i keep belching... like a lot!!!!! (tmi sorry) any tips on how to know when youre full without feeling that full feeling?!!?

hello everyone! i was banded on january 25th and have lost 21lbs so far since the pre-op diet recovery is going well.. gas pain all gone thank goodness and just began the mushies stage..... tonight for some reason i am in great pain on my left side....not where my port is but further back.. when i breathe in its a killer i am getting worked up on googling stuff to see what this could possibly be... so i decided to come on here and ask ya'll for your help before rushing to the emergency(my anxiety takes toll of me so im just trying to calm myself ) .... has anyone ever had this???

curvy i was getting that too and annie is right.. water!!!! drink drink drink! how are ya'll ladies doing ? seems like it's been a bit ? ...

so im 5 days post-op and the first 5 days i wasn't sure if i was even hungry or if eating was just a habit... i felt like i didnt know what to do with myself... did anyone else feel like this? so i sipped on liquids like 24/7.....now on day 5 post op... my tummy is rumbling.... im still drinking lots but it's really annoying right now... what to do to help???

speaking of pizza.... i am 7 days post op and my husband just ordered pizza..... i had a mushroom soup... its so hard but im very surprised at how well i am handling it... i even served it to them! with dipping sauce and pop.....aaaaahhh so i came to hide in my office to eat lol but thanks for sharing ashchap13 so now we have great ideas!!!

My stomach started growling yesterday and this morning even worse... I am also so done with this liquid diet! Lol i still have some pain in my left shoulder as well..hope u ladies have a good day!

i got banded 5 days ago and like 2-3 days after i start.... i had massive cramping so that didnt help how i was feeling at all!! im glad to know it passes

Congrats!!! the gas pain in a PAIN but walk walk and heat worked for me!! 5 days post- op here and feeling much better!!

i am 5 days post op and had a good day today but now i am starting to feel hungry... i feel weak, upset, irritable. etc around this time everyday...i drink what seems to be like all day so i can't be dehydrated?... does anyone else feel this way ? ughh i can't wait to feel 100% again and to start eating!!!

mmmmm i can't wait for a fruit smoothie too!!! i love fruits and i love milk too.. and yes anything but broth please!!! lol way to go girl!!! i am down 6lbs since surgery!

Hahaha kids! My little one isn't sleeping his nights either but thank goodness the same night after surgery he started sleeping 4 hour stretches (was 2 before) so that helped a bit since i wasnt able to help but i been getting up the last 2 nights with my husband to make bottle and change diaper.. I am feeling really hungry for the first time today ugghh!! Anyone eles hungry?so far no gas pain at all today and abit sore where my port is

Yes we are all on the same boat.. But each day is getting better and we will be enjoying dinner with our family again very soon! Yesterday i forced myself to sit at the table with my family while i had chicken broth and they had chicken stir fry... It was hard but no one said it was going to be easy... The weight that is coming off so quickly is worth waiting My 4 yr old daughter was with me when i went to stock up on baby food and she asked me if it was for Logan(4month old) i explained as clearly as a 4yr old couuld understand of course,that it was for mama..we get at the cash and she starts saying to the cashier that the baby food is for her mama and the cashier(and others in line) laugh and say "oh u silly girl" she responds" mama tell them its true its for u right" lol i just laughed and was like "yes of course babe!" annie is ur little one sleeping through the night??

I can't wait until i can enjoy my time with them all again. I know what u mean about a sheild! It's twice already my boys hit right where my port is. My kids are 6,4,2 and a 4month old

Already noticeably losing weight blondie woot woot thats awesome! Ohhhh how sweet of ur hubby txmamaof3! What i miss the very most is cooking dinner for my family and enjoying our family time at the dinner table i have a husband and 4 young children and i feel "disconnected" from them all latey

how you ladies feeling today ? i feel much better... went out and did a bit of shopping.. still have some trapped gas in my shoulder thats a pain! and my port incision is still sore also.. and curvyderm it makes my stomach feel bad too.. like when you feel inside moving...i dunno... ive always had quite the sensitive stomach when it came to things like this so when i switch sides when im in bed and i can feel something where my port is.. makes me feel sick :S hey did anyone else get a fill during the surgery?? my surgeon told me they gave me a fill to give me a head start???

day 2 post op and gas pains are a lot better but headache is really bad... im having a hard day...kinda annoyed with everything.. i just wanna chug back a cold glass of water or gatorade... i want a coffee so bad it hurts! i spent the day in bed today i feel like i should sleep off the healing process for it to go quicker so i can eat again

anyone else feel like chugging back something cold?!?! ugghh im so annoyed today
