  1. True head and if anyone has seen the other pics....removing hair from other parts as well???
  2. Do you find that you're up and about more in the evening trying to get those numbers up? That's the biggest win I have found for having mine. Normally I would be relaxing and watching tv late, but if my numbers are down i'll pull out my mini trampoline and fidget, jump and march in place. My 3 year old makes me "take turns" if she's still up though so that can be a challenge...:faint:
  3. I would have to agree that 2.5 seems to be the sweet spot for many. I'm at 2.8 and at first it was way tooo much, but after the first week I lost enough weight it loosened up, but if you look at averages most are 2.5 and happy with their restriction.
  4. Oh...public relations..
  5. I've always smoked when I had a few drinks with friends, but quit drinking for a few years after getting prego and becoming a mom...now that I can't eat, i'm finding i'm having a few drinks and smokes more than I did prebanding.... Iheard many GB patients switch their addictions to booze, cigarettes and/or sex...I guess this is quite typical, but i'm not seeing alot of people talking on these forums about these addiction transfers. Does anyone know if smoking can cause issues with the band? Not that i'm looking for a license to smoke but I don't remember hearing anything from my surgeon and was curious as it's not mentioned much...?
  6. I need to change jobs...I would KILL to wear scrubs daily...no seriously, I need to change jobs.
  7. I'm with you on that one. I happen to have an exceptionally beautiful little girl (LOL, don't we all) that people have tried to get me to enter into modeling and even family members have entered her into picture contests etc. But I am firm that I don't want to put her into a life where she feels her looks determine her self worth. Also...on another note, will people quit saying Britney was fat and out of shape in her appearance on the MTV Awards (I think that was the appearance-where it was supposed to be her BIG COMEBACK and she wore the bikini) come on, she looked GREAT and except for the fact that she moved slowly, lip synced terribly and was nervous-her outfit wasn't the most flattering for her newly shapely figure, but she is NOT fat. People have got to quit labelling women fat in this country we are killing our young girls trying to be stick thin - PuLEAZZZZ! Thank you for letting me get that out.
  8. LOL, Coffee gets me all fired up too, i'm with you there!!
  9. I too had a little trouble with heartburn the first couple of days after my last fill and a treatment of prilosec took it right away...I'm happy to see you are feeling better.:whoo:
  10. Thanks Suzzzie, that was me asking about the display...i'm really loving my bugg. There are days I don't wear it because I can't fit it under a tight sweater, but for the most part, I put it on before I put on my wedding ring in the AM! Shhhh don't tell the DH.
  11. hey my birthday is Oct 26th too! Happy Birthday to us, I think I am going to get the wristwatch as a present for myself.
  12. you will love your new toy, oopps I mean tool!
  13. whoo hoooooo, CONGRATS that is so wonderful for you!!!:whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo:
  14. Do you have a code to use for the display watch only? I already have the V2 and want the display watch which is only $79 on this site, but thought i'd ask - it's still a chunk of change to put out for something i've already spent quite a bit on so wanted to see if I could save more $$ on it before I ordered it.
  15. Melissa, that is bad news...i'm soooo sorry. Is there anything they can do to remove them? (sorry if I sound ignorant...I honestly don't even know what they are)
  16. I have heard a version of that alot in my lifetime "you'd be so pretty if you'd lose some weight" well that would just tick me off and make me eat to spite them! Ya' know?
  17. I'm an Oregonian...I live in the (Bethany/185th) Beaverton area.
  18. Tom Kha soup is your best bet for Thai food...it is yummy and you can eat the broth (which has coconut milk and is spicy too) and feel VERY satisfied.
  19. I wish I was there, I still can't eat much and my weight loss has stopped as a result...it's frustrating...I haven't lost a lb in 2 weeks and I eat less than my 3 year old daughter.
  20. I agree I just rented a bouncy house for my daughters 3rd birthday (only 150 dollars for 3 days-what a great deal) and we had a blast, way better than any workout i've had in month's and it kicked my butt!!!
  21. No I agree, it is alot of work to take small bites and chew and wait to see how it settles, repeat..etc. etc..i'm right there with you. People are always amazed at how little I actually eat anymore...as if I have a choice now...but I do love my band.:bandit
  22. Just the THOUGHT of a cinnabon makes me drool and hurt (not drool in a good way) maybe it's time for a fill??? I noticed i'm loosening up a little with my recent weight loss? I actually had a bite of a tuna sandwich (small bite which I chewed and chewed and chewed) yesterday and I didn't PB..so I know i'm loosening up, but I kinda miss having the control with the tightness, now I have to make better decisions and it's hard. It's easy to make good decisions when you either PB so bad you WANT to throw up or you spend 20 minutes in the bathroom drooling...LOL This is Not the EASY way out, I don't care what people say, but it definitely makes you make good decisions about what kind of nutrition you are going to take in each day instead of letting your stomach make the decisions for you...okay i'm ramblng...hope everyone is having a good day....:clap2:
  23. I too was a selfpay and do NOT miss the money for what I got in return is so worth it!
  24. I like how you put that..."flirting" LOL you crack me up!!
