  1. How funny is that...well its true we don't have A whole lotta men on here in comparison to the amount of women!
  2. If I eat something that makes me thirsty, I will take a small sip and rinse my mouth with it and then swallow....not enough to wash much food through my pouch but enough to ease the thirst.
  3. That would be a good reason for me not to do it! LOL:omg:
  4. I found that a fill lowered my heartburn episodes....I read somewhere else on here that it did that for another bander....somehow the pressure of the band keeps the acids down for many people...i'm sure it is different for everyone though.
  5. I know what you mean, when I get the "feeling" I get up and walk and it eventually goes away....my family just looks at me like "where's she going, we just sat down to eat" but I either took too big of a bite, didn't chew well enough or am just full......i'm still able to keep more than a cup of food though, I really thought I'd eat alot less with the band so I think I need another fill (currently have 1.4cc)-I have never PB'ed or thrown up though (knock on wood) but I will make sure and steer clear of the queso!!!!
  6. I have a hard time with the bored or TV watching eating....I like to eat popsicles at night (leftover habit from my quitting smoking days) and it's hard to break the habit of having a popsicle in mouth.....
  7. I've worn it all day today-it's a little hard to get used to as i'm very aware of it....I took my wireless receptor with me to work to plug in so I could see what I burned throughout the day, very interesting....I think this is going to be fun once I get a routine down.
  8. I like the Safeway brand Protein fortified shakes (basically a slimfast shake with twice the protein) and they taste like milk shakes.
  9. That is awful, I would definitely look further out and even drive if you are gaining back what you've lost, it just isn't worth it, you don't want to end up back where you started...hang in there.
  10. As of today I officially am a new Body Bugg owner! I'm so excited....
  11. You should be okay-it's ONLY one day, I know how hard it is when your body just wants more!
  12. I have the same issue, it is hard....this is good that the band challenges these issues that we have made our "norm"
  13. I wonder why they said the first fill doesn't last long? Keep us informed....i'm curious.
  14. Sounds like it went great! Congrats! Your son is quite the trooper....KUDOS to him.
  15. Whatever you're on.... I want some.. Your energy is coming through even on your posts!!!! :peace: I'm excited about the bugg, i'm not sure exactly how to use it yet....am I supposed to log everything i eat? That seems like a lot of work, but I will probably try it for the first week anyway...I'm wearing it now! It's smaller than i thought it would be, it looks bigger in the pictures I've seen.
  16. That's what i'm counting on, I am also getting the body bugg (you can see more about that on the "Body Bugg Users Report here" thread.)
  17. wow, this is good information that you for sharing, I hate that they make us jump through hoops....
  18. I will keep positive images of an approval coming your way!!!
  19. I walked around Mexico shopping the day after my surgery and NEVER suffered any gas pains, I really think that is why....
  20. I closed my eyes as she brought mine towards me so never saw it, then she had to move over to a table and asked me to "hold" it for a second....argh...that was freaky, but I survived, then when it was over and I was leaving I saw it sitting on the tray and OMG it was huge! I never really felt it, but after seeing it i'm really glad I didn't see it before hand as it really freaked me out how big it was.
  21. Keep us posted...i'm SURE you did fine!
  22. Congratulations and great job! Keep up the great work, following the liquid diet can be hard, but it sure does make for quick results.
  23. It shows in your numbers, I was banded two days after you and you have twice as much weight as I have. I started working out again yesterday and today so hopefully i'll catch up to you...Good job, keep up the great work!!:clap2:
  24. Losingjusme, I was lookingat your numbers...girl YOU ROCK! Wow, I cannot sit here and whine about how much I have to go you have already done that and keep losing more, you are an inspiration to the rest of us on this site!:clap2: I applaud you.
