  1. If you do have the flu then the cough would make since but a night cough is something I get only if I eat too close to bed time and/or my band is too tight?? I would make a call to your surgeon if your able to eat and drink normaly there may not be a problem! Best Wishes!
  2. Yes that none desire to eat is normal but make sure you at least stay hydraited!! The hunger will come back
  3. This post made me lol Not sure when you were banded but I would say go for it!! I have had no problems but maybe you should check with your surgeon? There is a whole thread for pregnant banders so yes you can still get pregnant with the lap band. it's a big reason some women chose this WLS vs other options because you can still have babies!

  9. That's an amazing NSV I know I hid from camera's for over a year and missed out on some great photo ops not anymore!!!
  10. The first time I waited 5 days way to long and had lost 17 lbs I was so dehydrated and the second I went back after the two liquid days on day 3 because I couldn't even tolerate the liquids.
  11. I would call I have had to have two unfills myself my Dr says some banders are just more sensitive than others. I hope you feel better and once your able to hold down liquids make sure you hydrate! Best Wishes!

  19. @ Donna everyone will be different I know that I am almost 7 months post up and doughy items and dry meats my band doesn't like. They make me feel stuffed after one or two bites. I chose healthier carbs and stray away from bread, donuts, cake, some chips, bagels ect... I hope this helps
  20. That's great old fashioned cake donuts & bagels was my go to breakfast so thankful I can not tolerate either of them!!
