  2. I know how you feel. I say do all you can to get healthy now before taking the other job. Go back for your follow up like scheduled. But call your Doctor With your concerns about how Short of Breath you get. Now after spending time in ICU there is a time for recovery. If you work from home and or have a fairly physically easy job then you and the doctor decide that one. You seem to be in good spirits and that's so great. You going to be running like a champion soon! 2013 is you Year! Congrats!

  7. Have your Surgeon or pcp write a letter of medically necessity. Citing your BMI and all your medical problems each one explaining the weight related problems it is causing. The diets you ve tried. Look on Obesity help . com for a sample letter. Basically proving why you medically need the surgery. Good luck!

  9. Absolutely My process will take 9 to 10 months. It should have taken 6. I didn't know the things that I know now. It's been a learning process too. The key is follow up, stay on top of things if not ahead. I am grateful still. Good luck
  10. I'm finishing my 6 month program in Jan then on to pre op testing. Hope to be sleeved by Feb or March. I got weighed in ( my program ) that consisted of pre op classes Nut visits and a Nurse practitioner visit in the beginning. My pcp wasn't as helpful. But try not to miss a monthly weigh in! Good luck

  14. I say do the six months program. At least unless you are sure about Mexico. Six month goes by so fast. Keep your head up. You are not alone. It is frustrating, yes in deed. Things seem to hit the fan since I been in the program. But i see the benefits from my own 6 month program that I'm in. Its giving me an opportunity to prepare, learn and get ready for Awesomeness that will happen! We gotta keep trying for better health. Your a winner. I say 6 months bring it on. You can do it.   15. This is an interesting thread. I may be in the same situation eventually. I receive shots now and hoping to put off the knee replacement and see how the WLS help. I too would like hear how yours go. Good luck!
  16. First. Congrats, on the 48 lbs weight loss. that is amazing. I have those issues now too. My belly and my arms are the first thing that I hope will go if I had a choice. In the past I'd did the abdomen machines at the gym and it helped. Good luck
